The PSAT results
are back. Please come to the Guidance Office to pick up your results if you
have not yet done so.
Hey Warriors! The 2015 Arapahoe High
School Winter Dance, A Night in Lights, is on
Saturday night, January 24th, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the AHS
Cafeteria. It is semi-formal and is a Sadie Hawkins night where the
girls invite the guys! The cost is $10 per person in
advance, and $15 per person at the door. Tickets go on sale during both
lunches, beginning Tuesday January 20th. This dance is so much fun,
you won't want to miss it! Only Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors may bring a guest from
another school. Dance guest forms are located in the Attendance Office and are
due next Tuesday, January 20.
Athletics
The
Arapahoe Girls Varsity basketball team won against Eaglecrest 68-47. Double
digit scorers were Jennah Knafelc, Annabelle Brewer, Jordyn Vega and Macy
Ziegler. Rebounding was led by Annabelle Brewer and Kat Abt. Way to go Lady
Hoops! Special shout out to the MOWB (Men of Womens Basketball) for
coming out to support. Special thank you to the Band and Cheers too!
Thanks for the support. Please come out and
support your AHS Lady Hoops tonight as they take on Overland at Arapahoe. Varsity game is at 7:00, JV at 5:30 and C-
team at 5:30 p.m.
The Broadcast team from Arapahoe High School will broadcast the
Heritage/LPS varsity Hockey game tonight via the internet on the NFHS
network. Follow the instructions to join the network so you can watch the
game for free.
This
Tuesday is Arapahoe's 1st home game for your Unified Warriors. We will be
playing Chatfield. Our Unified Basketball team and Unified Cheers have been
practicing since early December, come and watch them defeat Chatfield, 7 pm in the Main Gym, Jan 20
Attention!
Any girls interested in playing tennis this spring: There is a mandatory
registration meeting for all girls trying out for the team and their parents on Tuesday, January 20,
at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum.
It’s time for the boys swim and dive season! Join us for
the Kick Off meeting on Thursday, January 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the library. Interested swimmers and divers
(returning and new) should plan on attending the kick off meeting. Registration
is open so if you know you’re going to swim or dive, please register before the
kickoff meeting. See you Thursday, January 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the Library!
