Attention
all FBLA Members. If you have signed up for a testing event, you must
take your test today, January 8th, 9th 12th or 13th after school in Room
S2 or S3. If you have any questions regarding whether or not you need to
take an online test, please stop by the Business Department. A study
session is planned for all students in performance events. The study
session will be at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. Please stop by the Business Department
today or tomorrow to
sign up!
Welcome back, Musers! We missed you! We will jump
back into action with a Muse meeting today in Room C17 after
school to talk about how to put our 2015 magazine together and what we still
need from you! Put it on your planner!
Happy New Year Warriors! Make a resolution to put more drama in
your life. Come to the Drama Club meeting tomorrow in the Auditorium
at 2:30. There you can get information about events and our upcoming
spring musical, Bye Bye Birdie!
The
Winter Dance , "A Night in Lights", will be on Saturday, January 24th
from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in
the Cafeteria. Only Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors may bring a guest from
another school. Dance guest forms are located in the Attendance Office.
Watch for ticket sale announcements soon.
Athletics
If you
left anything in your PE locker from last semester you can come down to the
locker rooms today thru Friday to
look for your items. All locks have been cut off. After Friday, everything will be donated to Goodwill. See any PE
teacher for assistance.
Congratulations to our girls Varsity swim team medley relay for
breaking the school record last night in their meet against Regis in the 200
Medley with a time of 1:48.94. The swimmers on the relay were: Morgan Conn
(backstroke), Delaney Smith (breaststroke), Ella Moynihan (fly) and Laurel
Eiber (free). This record was originally set in 1998! Way to go girls!
Please
come out and support your Lady Warriors basketball teams as they take on
Grandview tonight at Grandview High School. Varsity plays at 7:00 p.m. and JV and C teams play at 5:30 p.m. Go Warriors!
