Would you like to hear about a scholarship opportunity worth $180,000?  Then bring your lunch to the Forum during either lunch today. The United States Marine Corps will give a brief presentation on the NROTC scholarship.

Juniors, the PSAT test is coming. When? . . . October 14! Registration has started and goes through October 7. So, remember to bring $15 and your photo ID to the Guidance Office to sign up for this important test!

Trick or treat! Are you ready for Homecoming Week next week? The theme is Halloween Town and the dress days are as follows: Monday, Mathlete Day; Tuesday, Comic-Con day; Wednesday, Wacky Tacky Day; Thursday, Trick or Treat Costume Day; and Friday, Spirit Day. Remember, each class earns points by dressing up for theme days for the class competition, so be sure to show your spirit!

Athletics

Congrats to the Volleyball Program on their sweep over Mullen last night! A big shout out to the Men of Volleyball who came and cheered varsity to victory! We play Grandview away tomorrow night. Come out and support us for our Homecoming match next Tuesday against Mullen. GO WARRIORS!

It was a fitting end to an undefeated season, as your JV tennis team beat Overland 10-0 at home.  Varsity players are still on the courts, preparing to defend their title at the upcoming regional tournament in October.

Yesterday, the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team was victorious over Mullen High School 5-1. Wilmer Ramirez, Chris Grauberger and Trevor Young scored for Arapahoe. The Junior Varsity beat Mullen by a score of 5-2. Great job Warriors!

Hey Warriors! Come out to the football game this Friday against Heritage.  Arapahoe will be the "away" team for this cross-town rivalry game so everyone (students and parents) will need to purchase a ticket.  Tickets will be available for purchase starting tomorrow during both lunches and will continue to be sold during lunches tomorrow and Friday.  Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.  Go Warriors!!!
All boys interested in playing basketball this winter. We will have a mandatory parent meeting next Tuesday October 6th at 7:00pm in the forum. You must have a parent present.

Registration is now open for Girls Swimming and Diving!   Go to the team web page and register before Oct 1.  There is a mandatory kick-off meeting on Thursday, October 1 from 5:30-7:00pm in the library.  New swimmers/divers should plan to attend a special meeting in the forum that night from 6:00 - 6:30pm.   It is also "Arapahoe Night" on Oct 1 at Shawarma - have dinner there and mention AHS Girls Swim/Dive and a portion of the profits help the team!

Hey Warriors!  The "blackouts" at games have been amazing!  We are going to continue showing our Arapahoe spirit by selling the latest and greatest spirit t-shirt for the game this week.  Shirts are $15 and will be sold during lunches today, tomorrow and Friday.  Quantities are limited. Go Warriors!
