General Announcements
Attention all Marketing students! Have you gotten your
DECA Enrollment Form?! If not, go get one from the Business Office! The
deadline is THIS FRIDAY, September 4th. Our first
All-Club meeting will be tomorrow at 2:30 in the Forum.
It will be your first opportunity to participate in DECA! Hope to see you
there!!
Are you a Junior or Senior who has taken 3
business classes? If so, head to the Business Department and pick up an
application for the National Business Honor Society. Applications are due Monday, September 14th.
Muse magazine is still looking for a few fearless
leaders, and we have chosen to extend the application by a few days. Please
submit your application to the box in the Language Arts Office by the end of
the day today. Blank applications are
also available in the submission box.
Attention
Seniors! The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year
annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who
demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving
their communities. Please see Ms. Schoonover in Guidance for more information.
AHS
Students--want to get involved? Interested in joining a club or activity?
Plan to attend Club Cafe today during both lunches. Over 25 organizations will be
represented providing you with information about how to get involved at AHS!
Athletics
Attention
tennis players-The JV team will not start practice today until 3:00. See you
then.
AHS Football Season Opener! Come
cheer on your Warrior Football teams tomorrow, September 3rd for our first blackout game! Varsity plays Legend High
School at 6pm at the LPS stadium. Go Warriors!
Don’t forget, tonight is the volleyball match
against Heritage. Come fill the stands to cheer your warriors on to victory!
Varsity starts at 6:30. See you there!
