prizes! It is not too late to join. Can’t make the meeting? No problem you
can still join, see Mr. Sawyer or Mrs. Swank in the Business Department.
The Tennis Racquet drive is still in full
force! Please gather up your old, broken, outgrown tennis racquets and
bring them to the office. The tennis guys will collect them and deliver
them to Racquets for All which is doing good for our local community.
Racquets can be in any condition, any size. THANK YOU!
Hey Warriors!
Representatives from Herff/Jones will be here tomorrow and Friday
in the cafeteria during lunches to take your class ring orders. Please stop by
the Main Office or Guidance Office to pick up an information packet!
Attention Students! School Picture Packets will be distributed TODAY during lunch from 10:30 to 12:30 in the Cafeteria! Please stop by and
pick up your packet during this time.
Hey Key Clubbers! Thanks again for a
great turn out at Monday's meeting!
Next week we will be back at our regular meeting spot in N2/N3, Monday right
after school. If you were not able to make Monday's meeting
it is still not too late to join. All students interested in joining must
submit their registration forms no later than Monday, October 5th! You may bring your form to next week's meeting, or drop it
off with Ms. McVey in the social studies office sometime this week. Don't
forget our next major event, the Mineral Clean up, this Saturday. Meet in the Powell parking lot at 10:30 am, bring gloves and a trash bag.
Sophomores,
Juniors and Seniors: The election of 2016 is just around the corner and
New Era Colorado wants to help you register and preregister to vote! They
will be visiting Arapahoe today and tomorrow. If you are 16, 17, or 18
years old and are a US citizen please bring a state issued ID to school so you
can perform your civic responsibility of registering to vote!
Registration will take place in all Government and Economics classes and they
will have registration tables in the bubble hallway for those that are interested!
Athletics
The streak continues! Your varsity boys tennis team
soundly defeated Eaglecrest 7-0 yesterday. JV also brought back a win of 8-1
over Eaglecrest. Today, they’re on the road to Cherokee Trail, where they
hope to serve up another unanimous win.
