General Announcements
School Picture Packets have arrived! If you ordered pictures,
please pick them up from the attendance office as soon as possible. Picture
Re-take day will be next Tuesday from 10 until noon in the
main entrance hallway. You will need to turn in your packet to the
photographer in order to get re-takes.
Juniors, the PSAT test is
coming. When? . . . October 14! Registration has started and goes through October 7. So, remember to bring $15 and your photo ID to
the Guidance Office to sign up for this important test!
Homecoming Guest Pass
Approval Forms will be available in the Activities Office beginning Monday, Sept. 28. Only one guest per student will be
allowed, and due to the large number of attendees, only students grades 10-12 may bring a guest from another
school. Fully completed and signed forms MUST BE returned to the
Activities office no later than 3 pm on Oct. 6. For more information, please see Mrs. Railey
in the Activities Office.
Hey Warriors!
Representatives from Herff/Jones will be here today and tomorrow in the cafeteria during lunches to take
your class ring orders. Please stop by the Main Office or Guidance Office to
pick up an information packet!
Hey Key Clubbers! Thanks again for a great turn out at Monday's meeting! Next week we will be back at
our regular meeting spot in N2/N3, Monday right
after school. If you were not able to make Monday's meeting
it is still not too late to join. All students interested in joining must
submit their registration forms no later than Monday, October 5th! You may bring your form to next
week's meeting, or drop it off with Ms. McVey in the social studies office
sometime this week. Don't forget our next major event, the Mineral Clean up, this Saturday.
Meet in the Powell parking lot at 10:30am, bring gloves and a trash bag.
Sophomores,
Juniors and Seniors: The election of 2016 is just around the corner and
New Era Colorado wants to help you register and preregister to vote! Today
is the last day they will be visiting Arapahoe. If you are 16, 17, or 18
years old and are a US citizen please bring a state issued ID to school so you
can perform your civic responsibility of registering to vote!
Registration will take place in all Government and Economics classes and they
will have registration tables in the bubble hallway for those that are interested!
Athletics
In a classic
case of never give up, your
varsity tennis warriors fought hard yesterday for a 4-3 victory over Cherokee
Trail. The JV team defeated Cherokee Trail 18-0 to continue their season
undefeated. Only 2 more matches to go! It’s shaping up to be an exciting second half of the
season. Let’s keep the rally going!
Hey Warriors - the football
game next Friday,
October 2nd will be a
fight to bring the Brookridge Trophy back home to AHS! We need everyone
there to cheer our team to victory! Arapahoe will be the "away"
team for this cross-town rivalry game against Heritage so everyone (students
and parents) will need to purchase a ticket for the game. Tickets will be
available for purchase starting Wednesday, September 30th during
lunches and will continue to be sold during lunches on Thursday and Friday. Admission is $3 for students and $5 for
adults. Go Warriors!!!
Your Varsity
Boys’ soccer team travels this evening to play a 7:00 match
against Grandview High School at The Stutler Bowl, located at Cherry Creek High
School. Go Warriors!

all Winter Athletes. Registration is open on the website at ahswarriors.org.
Please register ASAP so you don't miss any important information.
Are you a Junior or Senior student athlete interested in
college athletics? If so, please sign up for the NCAA/NAIA Orientation and Recruiting
Seminar to be held on Tuesday, September 29th in
the forum. Sign Up sheets are in the Guidance Center and Athletic Office.
Sessions will be offered first or second lunch. Go Warriors!
