General Announcements
Attention Juniors and Seniors who are planning on going on the Washington DC Trip - This Thursday all students MUST be enrolled and have their deposit paid. Come see Mrs Winn this week to get registered!
Halloween costumes are allowed tomorrow, but please make sure they are appropriate and adhere to school dress code. In addition, masks, face painting, weapons and/or any weapon facsimiles are not allowed.
Want to give a helping hand? This is the LAST week to collect cans and spare change for the 2017 Annual Food Drive for Field Elementary's food pantry! So check your pantries for extra cans that you and your family are willing to donate and give back to a worthy cause! Student Council reps will be collects cans/spare change during both lunches! Friday is the last day, don't forget!
All AHS students are invited to participate in the Halloween Lunchtime activities to be held during both lunches on Tuesday, October 31. The fun will include a costume contest, prizes will be awarded!

Athletics
Boys basketball - All Seniors and Juniors wanting to tryout for basketball, Preseason camp starts today at 2:30 in the Aux Gym. Freshman and Sophomore camp starts Monday 11/6 at 5:30. Make sure you register on the Arapahoe Athletic Webpage by today - See Coach Jansen if you have any questions.
Both the JV and Varsity Cheer teams will be competing at the Centennial League at 6pm on Wednesday, November 8. Please come support the girls that support the school. Go Warriors!
Congratulations to the girls and boys cross country teams for some excellent running on Saturday in the State Meet. The girls team was led by top finisher Morgan Conn and the boys team was led by top finisher Griffin Hampton. Both teams competed well against the best teams in the state. Way to go cross country, great finish to your season.
Congratulations to the Warrior Marching Band and Color Guard for three outstanding performances at the Colorado Bandmasters Association 5A State Marching Band Championships this past weekend. The Band performed in quarterfinals on Friday and qualified for semifinals on Saturday earning a score of 74.20. The Band placed 7th in semifinals with a score of 77.50 and qualified to compete in finals. During finals competition, the Band had their best show of the season and placed 7th overall in 5A with a score of 76.35!!! Congratulations to the marching band and guard for an amazing season!!!
