If you are interested in being a part of Sources of Strength, there's still time! Peer Leader Training will be held next Thursday, October 19th. If you have not turned your permission slip in yet, please do so in the counseling office! Questions? See Ms. Zimmerman in counseling.
On Thursday, October 12th, there will be an informational meeting for juniors and seniors interested in taking Concurrent Enrollment classes through ACC during the 2018 spring semester. This meeting will be held in the Forum during both lunch periods; students can bring their lunch and eat it during the meeting.
ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The 2017/2018 trip to Washington D.C. is here again! This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill first hand. There will be a parent/guardian meeting for those interested in this trip on Wednesday, October 11th at 7 PM in the Room W-2882. Please feel free to join your parent or guardian, and if you are unable to attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Winn in the Social Studies department.
Do you love cars? Are you a gearhead? Or do you just generally like to look at some cool cars? If that's you come to Arapahoe High School's Inaugural Car Show Saturday October 14th from 9am -12 pm in the West parking lot! Bring your friends and bring your family! All donations will be going towards the Wounded Warrior foundation.
This week is National School Lunch Week! Today students will share their recipe for success for a chance to win prizes.
Athletics
Girls Swim and Dive -- Please join us tonight at 6pm in the AHS Cafeteria for the Parent information meeting and suit try-on night. The coaches will share important information about the swim/dive season, and swimmers/divers will have an opportunity to try-on the team suit, and check out the other team gear.
Congratulations to the volleyball program on their sweep over Mullen last night! Thank you to our fans who stayed to watch the Senior Night match! Varsity beat the Mustangs in 4 sets...keep on fighting for playoffs! GO WARRIORS!!!
Your Varsity and JV Boys’ soccer teams travel this afternoon to play re-scheduled matches against Smoky Hill High School. Both games are at 4:00 pm. Let’s go Warriors!
