General Announcements
*Our homecoming week begins on Monday, September 13. We are celebrating the Warrior spirit this Homecoming with Warrior Ambassadors! Do you know students that always put a smile on your face, and make you feel good? When you hear the words, “Warriors always take care of one another” who comes to mind? Picture those people and nominate them as a Warrior Ambassador for this homecoming! Look for the nomination form in your school email. Please nominate up to four people from your grade. The top four nominees will be introduced at the football game on September 17 and also ride in the Homecoming Parade on September 18. Nomination forms are due by Tuesday, September 14.
*Students: if you were marked absent by a teacher and it was done so incorrectly, please visit the attendance office for a change slip. Your parents are unable to correct this through the attendance line. Thank you.
*Juniors and Seniors: Please remember that during school hours all vehicles on school grounds need to have a properly displayed parking permit. Vehicles with an improperly displayed parking permit or with no permit are subject to ticketing and towing. If you have any questions regarding the rules in the parking lot, you can receive a copy of the rules at either security kiosk or in the student services office.
*Eat dinner out at Chipotle this Wednesday, September 8 and support your Arapahoe Band while getting a little music to your mouth! Show the flyer or mention Arapahoe Band at the cashier.
*All NHS members! We have our first meeting this Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. in the forum or at 3:45 p.m in the forum! You need to be at one or the other. It will last 15 to 20 minutes. We look forward to seeing you all! See one of the officers if you have to miss.
*Interested in seeing the inside of a SWAT van, meeting an EMT, or learning about firefighting? Join the First Responder Club! We meet Wednesday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the forum. Hope to see you there!
*FBLA is starting up! All are welcome to our meeting this Thursday, September 9th in the Forum right after school. We will be discussing our social events, community service opportunities and competitions that we have planned this year. See you Thursday.
*Seniors, graduation will be here before you know it! If you have not verified the correct spelling of your name or provided your height for your gown, please stop and see Mrs. Witt in the Student Services/Counseling area to provide that information.
*Seniors, Herff Jones will be here this Thursday, September 9th, on the south patio from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with information about ordering graduation announcements, class rings, letter jackets, and more. Remember to stop by and see them for information on ordering.
*Did you know that you can earn .25 LPS graduation elective credit while taking driver education? Go to the Littleton Public Schools Website and click the Driver Education Tab or littletonpublicschools.net/driversed. Classes are coming up on Saturdays at Littleton HS and after school at Arapahoe HS. More classes are available throughout the semester and school year with an online only option and upcoming virtual only in the evening. In-person classes at AHS start 9/13/2021 - 9/28/2021 Monday through Thursday 3:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. In-person Saturday classes at Littleton HS start on September 11th from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*Free in-person Alive @ 25 class is Monday 9/27 at 3:45 pm - 8:15 pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the code is "arapahoe".

*Congratulations to our Football Warriors as they beat Heritage 42-0 under the Friday night lights!
*Field Hockey is back on the turf field again tonight against Palmer Ridge. Varsity plays at 6:00 p.m. and J.V. at 7:30 p.m. Cheer on your Warriors to victory!
*Our Boys Varsity Soccer team plays Fort Collins High School at 7:00 p.m. tonight at Littleton Public Schools Stadium. JV and C teams both play Fort Collins at home at 4:30 p.m. Come out and support your Warriors!
*Let’s pack our gym tonight as Volleyball competes against ThunderRidge! Sophomores at 4:30 p.m., JV at 5:00 p.m., Freshman at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7:00 p.m.
