General Announcements


*Our homecoming week begins on Monday, September 13. We are celebrating the Warrior spirit this Homecoming with Warrior Ambassadors! Do you know students that always put a smile on your face, and make you feel good? When you hear the words, “Warriors always take care of one another” who comes to mind? Picture those people and nominate them as a Warrior Ambassador for this homecoming! Look for the nomination form in your school email. Please nominate up to four people from your grade. The top four nominees will be introduced at the football game on September 17 and also ride in the Homecoming Parade on September 18. Nomination forms are due  by Tuesday, September 14.


*Let the Adventure Begin:  Around the World is our theme for this year's Homecoming celebration.  Tickets for the dance go on sale Monday, September 13 during both lunches.  Tickets are $15.00, or $20.00 at the door.  Tickets may be purchased with cash or a check made payable to Arapahoe High School.


*Heeeey Warriors! Next Monday is the Homecoming Talent Show! Come see singers, dancers, musicians, and MORE. Tickets are 5 dollars and will be sold during both lunches this Friday. You can also buy tickets at the door. Again, come kick off Homecoming Week at Talent Show--Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Theater. 


*Eat dinner out at Chipotle tonight and support your Arapahoe Band while getting a little music to your mouth! Show the flyer or mention Arapahoe Band at the cashier. 

 

*All NHS members! If you didn’t make it to this morning’s meeting, join us in the forum today at 3:45 p.m. for a short meeting! We look forward to seeing you all! See one of the NHS officers if you have to miss.

 

*FBLA is starting up! All are welcome to our meeting this Thursday, September 9th in the Forum right after school. We will be discussing our social events, community service opportunities and competitions that we have planned this year. See you Thursday. 

  

*Seniors, Herff Jones will be here tomorrow, September 9th, on the south patio from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with information about ordering graduation announcements, class rings, letter jackets, and more. Remember to stop by and see them for information on ordering.


*Did you know that you can earn .25 LPS graduation elective credit while taking driver education? Go to the Littleton Public Schools Website and click the Driver Education Tab or littletonpublicschools.net/driversed. Classes are coming up on Saturdays at Littleton HS and after school at Arapahoe HS. More classes are available throughout the semester and school year with an online only option and upcoming virtual only in the evening. In-person classes at AHS start 9/13/2021 - 9/28/2021 Monday through Thursday 3:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. In-person Saturday classes at Littleton HS start on September 11th from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


*Free in-person Alive @ 25 class is Monday 9/27 at 3:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the code is "arapahoe".

Athletics

 

*Field Hockey varsity tied Palmer Ridge 0-0 in overtime and JV won 3-0!

 

*Last night our Boys Varsity Soccer team was victorious over Fort Collins High School by a score of 1-0. JV won by a score of 5-3. Nice job Warriors!

 

*The Warriors took on the Mullen Mustangs yesterday in boys tennis.  Varsity was victorious as was JV GOLD.  The JV BLACK team played strong too but lost by just  2 matches. Come by the courts this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. to watch Arapahoe take on Overland. Go team!

 

*Our LPS Gymnastics team had their first 2 meets of the season last week and placed 2nd at the Ponderosa meet and 2nd at the Palmer Ridge meet with many top five individual placements.

 

*Boys Lacrosse! Please visit the Boys Lacrosse page on AHSWarriors.org for fall playing and participation information.  

 

*Want to leave a legacy? Consider donating to the weight room renovation by buying a commemorative brick to be placed near the exterior entrance of the weight room. Visit AHS athletics page and click on the link under 'Highlights' for more information.
