Good morning
Arapahoe artists and staff. The Art Attack is up in the east end of the building.
Please come down and check out all the fabulous work that is on display. The
awards reception will be tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in the theater hallway.
Come and see who came out a winner.
Attention all FBLA Members. Officer application forms are
due this Wednesday, April 17th. If you are interested in becoming an FBLA
officer, please drop off the forms to Mrs. Swank or Mr. Sawyer in the Business
Office.
Please visit the Science Department web page at lps2.it/science to pre-register for the medicine class.
The pre-registration form will give you instructions for full
registration. The medicine class is for Seniors interested in a future
medical profession and meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings in the fall
at 6:10 a.m.

Warrriors! The Prom talent show is Wednesday, April 24th at 5:00 and
7:00. There is some amazing talent for you to see! Tickets are $5
and will be on sale in the cafeteria during both lunches from Monday, April
22nd through Wednesday, April 24th. Tickets will also be available at the
door the night of the show. Come and enjoy the show!!

students! The next exam pre-registration meeting will be Wednesday, April
24th in the Forum. Meetings will take place every period, except fourth
and after school from 2:30-3:00. Plan to attend during one of your off
hours. Bring a number two, non-mechanical pencil with you. See your
AP teacher for more information.
Athletics
Come cheer on your boys JV Black lax team as
they play Regis at 4:30 at their home field, Powell Middle School! Go Warriors!
Last Friday on a chilly evening at LPS Stadium,
the Girls' Varsity lacrosse team defeated its Centennial League rivals, the
Mullen Mustangs by a score of 20 - 17. After Mullen jumped out to a 3 -1
lead, the Warriors fought back, scoring 11 unanswered goals to take the lead
and held on for the Victory. Kate Englert led the offense with 7 goals, 3
assists, followed by Britt Klosterman with 4 goals, 3 assists. Chandler
Ramsey worked both offense and defense with 1 goal, 4 assists, and 2 caused
turnovers. The defense was led by Kendall Cooke's tight web and 2 caused
turnovers. Goalie Brooke Engel contributed to the win with 15 saves,
including 5 of 6 penalty shots. Way to go, Warriors!
This afternoon the girls' Varsity and JV lacrosse teams will take on the Smokey Hill Buffaloes at Newton Middle School. Game time is 4:30 for Varsity and 6:00 for JV. Please come out and support the teams. Beat the Buffaloes, Arapahoe!

Eaglecrest
didn't have a chance on Friday, as the Freshman baseball team won in blowout
fashion, 6-0 in seven innings at home. The team scored 3 runs in the
fourth on RBI singles by Clay Hanson, Tyler Miller and Dalton Keasling.
The freshman are scheduled to play Overland this afternoon at home.
Come cheer them to victory!
There will be a Heritage
Hockey Informational Meeting on Tuesday, April 30, 6 p.m. at the Garlic
Knot. Come learn about the three teams for all LPS hockey players and
meet the coaches. A $10 all you-can-eat pizza buffet benefits the hockey team.
