ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE
ARTISTS!!!! Art Attack is here. Today is the last day to turn in submissions for the show.
Entry forms are located in the art department office. See an art teacher
for details or questions. The show will be up in the halls on April 15th so make sure to check it out!
Seniors … Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent
your class – audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time auditions will be held after school
on Tuesday, April 16. Please sign up for
your audition at Mrs. Debow’s window in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions, please see Mr.
Kleeman in Language Arts.
Attention
all seniors who are currently in or have previously taken
a Personal Finance class. One of you will be awarded a
$1,000 Personal Finance Scholarship. The deadline to submit your
application for the Scholarship is April 15th. For more details, please
visit the Business Department website or come see Mrs. Swank, Mr. Sawyer or Ms.
Lewallen.
Hey Warriors! Got talent?
Do you have an amazing talent that you want to share with the school? The Prom Talent Show is coming up on April 24th,
and we are looking for fun and exciting acts to star in the show! Tryouts will be held on April 9th from 2:30 to 5:30, and April
10th from 5:00 to 7:30 in rooms N2 and N3. If you are interested, please pick up the tryout forms from the
main office! These forms are available
NOW, so come out and showcase your talent!!
Are you
an average human being? Do you like eating? Do you have any ideas to combat the
growing obesity problem? If so, come show your expertise and solutions in
the LPS Healthy School Snack Contest! Prizes will be awarded to the top
contestants on April 18th. If interested, contact Mrs. Lewis in Room E2 or
refer to the posters on the bulletin boards or the slide show in the
cafeteria.
Attention
all students who have completed multiple business classes. You may be
eligible for a business certificate of proficiency. If you have
completed a series of business classes, please stop by the business office to
pick up an application for a certificate of proficiency.
Applications are due April 12th.
Summer school information is now available. If you need this
information, please come and pick up a packet in the Guidance Office or meet
with your counselor.
Athletics
The girls Gold lacrosse team defeated Dakota
Ridge 18 - 4 yesterday. Keep up the great teamwork girls.
Congratulations to the boys level 3 lacrosse
team for their big win against Littleton yesterday afternoon! The boys will be
playing again Saturday morning in Fort Collins! Good luck boys! Bring home
another win!
