The Speech and Debate
team will hold this week's meeting and practice today in C15 at 2:30. All
members should plan to attend, even those not competing this weekend, as there
will important information shared at the meeting that impacts all
team members.
Attention
current AP students. Please attend an exam pre-registration meeting today
in the forum. Meetings will take place every period, except fourth. You
will need to come during one of your off hours. Please bring a number
two, non-mechanical pencil with you to this meeting. If you cannot attend
today, the last chance to complete the registration materials is Wednesday,
April 24th. Ask your AP teachers for more information.
Tom Boys
and Guy Cheers, remember that all completed forms and money must be turned in
to Mrs. Weems in the Athletic Office by tomorrow, Friday, April 12th.
Faculty, staff and students: tomorrow is College Friday, a day dedicated to raising awareness about
the importance of higher education. Wear your favorite college apparel to school. Free fries at participating Carl’s Jr.
locations if you are wearing college gear.
Free ice cream at participating Cold Stone Creamery locations from 3-7
p.m.
Attention Juniors - if
you received a letter inviting you to be a Junior Attendant for graduation, PLEASE
remember to stop by the Guidance Office to let Mrs. DeBow know if you are
planning to participate.
A
reminder to all seniors who are currently in or have taken a personal finance
class. The deadline to submit your application for the $1,000 scholarship
is due next Monday April 15th. For more information, please see Ms.
Lewallen, Mr. Sawyer or Mrs. Swank.
In exactly one week is the opening night to
Brigadoon! ! Tickets are on sale during both lunches or you can get them at the
door for $8 for students and $10 for adults. Opening night Thursday April 18th and it runs until Saturday April 20th. The
show starts at 7 p.m. See you
there!
Auditions for the 2013-2014 AHS choirs will be held April
22nd - 26th. Please see Ms. Parmenter in the Choir Room to sign up for an
audition time and receive information.
Seniors
… Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent your class – audition for
keynote speaker for graduation! One time
auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 16. Please sign up for your audition at Mrs.
Debow’s window in the Guidance Office.

Athletics
The Varsity boys lacrosse team played a tough
game against Mullen last night but lost 8-7. The Varsity team will play
Grandview at 7:30 at LPS on Friday. Come out and support your Warriors!
