Congratulations goes to the following students for their
accomplishments in this past weekend's National Qualifying Speech Tournament held at Cherry Creek High
School: Karl Pierson placed third in
national extemporaneous speaking earning himself a spot at the national
tournament in June. Other students
performing well included Ethan Snow, who placed sixth in national
extemporaneous speaking and the team of Larson Ross and Lizzie Stephani who
placed sixth in public forum debate. Considering
the level of this weekend's competition, having four students represent
Arapahoe High School as finalists is quite an achievement.
