Congratulations
Warriors! Through the efforts of the Arapahoe Community, we raised $15,031.77
during Warrior Week for Adam's Camp. Warriors truly do take care of one
another!
Hey
Warriors, nominations for this year's Prom Royalty as well as Senior Favorites
will take place in the cafeteria this week during lunch today and tomorrow.
You can also nominate in the cafeteria all day on Thursday.
The Arapahoe Speech and Debate Team will hold its weekly meeting
and practice after school today in C15. All members should attend.
Students
interested in running for a Student Council officer position should plan on
attending one of the two intent-to-run meetings on Tuesday, April 2nd in the
forum. The last meeting will be after school today.
A reminder to all TSA members planning on attending TSA
Nationals this summer. Your paperwork and deposit are due by the end of the
day TODAY! Group flight reservations will be made early tomorrow morning.

There
will be a short National Honor Society meeting tomorrow after school.
Please join us tomorrow at 2:25 in the Forum for a quick meeting with
important information.
The Muse staff and faculty would like to extend our
congratulations to all the artists and writers whose work was accepted into the
magazine this year. We will celebrate those creative
students whose art, poetry and prose will be appearing in the 2013, Volume 11
of the Muse! This is a once-a-year event, so don't miss it--this Thursday
at 7:00 is our annual Muse
Showcase in the Forum. You will hear writers reading from a
variety of works, and see amazing art. Come
early for a snack and live music: that's Thursday at 7 in the Forum.
Attention all Arapahoe artists, Art Attack is here! We are now accepting entries for our 2013
show. Show off your talents and submit up to two works in every category.
See flyers around the school for detail. Bring your artwork in to
any art teacher now through April 5th.
Seniors … Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent
your class – audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time auditions will be held after school
on Tuesday, April 16. Please sign up for
your audition at Mrs. Debow’s window in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions, please see Mr.
Kleeman in Language Arts.
Hey Warriors! Got talent?
Do you have an amazing talent that you want to share with the school? The Prom Talent Show is coming up on April 24th,
and we are looking for fun and exciting acts to star in the show! Tryouts will be held on April 9th from 2:30 to 5:30, and April
10th from 5:00 to 7:30 in rooms N2 and N3. If you are interested, please pick up the tryout forms from the
main office! These forms are available
NOW, so come out and showcase your talent!!
Attention
all students who have completed multiple business classes. You may be
eligible for a business certificate of proficiency. If you have
completed a series of business classes, please stop by the business office to
pick up an application for a certificate of proficiency.
Applications are due April 12th.
Summer school information is now available. If you need this information,
please come and pick up a packet in the Guidance Office or meet with your
counselor.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity girls golf for
winning the Heritage Invitational at Lone Tree yesterday. Claudia Davis,
Holly Schaefer and Hannah Wood all finished in the top 6 of the tournament.
Chalk one up for the good guys! Our
freshman baseball team defeated Heritage on their home turf last night with a
final score of 15-4. Congratulations Warriors on a fantastic win!
Come out and support the Varsity boys baseball
team as they take on rival Heritage at home today. Game starts at 4:00.
Come cheer on the JV boys baseball
team as they take on Heritage today at 4 p.m. at Heritage High School.
This afternoon the girls Varsity and JV
lacrosse teams will battle Kent at Kent Sun Devils Stadium. Varsity game
is at 4:15 and the JV game is at 5:30. Please come out and support our
team. Go Arapahoe, Beat the Sun Devils.
