General Announcements
Today is Veterans’ Day and we are honored to have guest speakers
in the Forum every hour who will share their stories with our US History
classes of serving our country in the Armed Forces. Their experiences
vary, but they share a common thread of bravery and commitment to freedom and
the people of the United States. You are welcome to come to the Forum
during any of your unscheduled hours today.
Toys for Tots: John Holmes reminds us, “There is no exercise
better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” Help the AHS community lift up the Garden Place Academy and the
Denver Indian Center by helping support the 15th Annual Toys for
Tots. Our goal is to collect 1,000 new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls
ages 3-12. Please, no weapons or toys that require batteries. For
more information, stop by the Attendance Office.
It's Winter Guard Time! If any Warriors are interested in being a
member of the award winning Arapahoe Winter Guard but you missed the
informational meeting on Monday, November 7th, please let Mr. Funk
know. We will get you the information you need regarding participation
and tryouts. Happy Spinning and Dancing!
