Arapahoe High School Daily Bulletin
Thursday November 10, 2016
Good Morning Arapahoe
In honor of Veteran’s Day, each morning we will have an active
duty service member lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance
Please
stand and join us in the Pledge of Allegiance
General Announcements
As Arapahoe continues to recognize and remember veterans whose
courage protects the freedoms and values of the American people, please
remember the words of Elmer Davis, “This nation will remain the land of the free
only so long as it is the home of the brave.”
Toys for Tots: As we look
at all we have to be grateful for, we are reminded by John Bunyan, “You have
not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay
you.” Think about these words as you shop this holiday season. AHS
has committed to helping the Garden Place Academy and the Denver Indian Center
by collecting 1,000 new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages 3-12.
Please help make the 15th Annual Toys for Tots a success. For
further information about how you can help, stop by the Attendance Office.
It's Winter Guard Time! If any Warriors are interested in being a
member of the award winning Arapahoe Winter Guard but you missed the
informational meeting on Monday, November 7th, please let Mr. Funk
know. We will get you the information you need regarding participation
and tryouts. Happy Spinning and Dancing!
