General Announcements
Now that Halloween is
over, it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Luckily, the AHS Drama Club has you covered. Come see the Pageant Plays this
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. show times are 7:00pm, and tickets are $5.00
for students and $7.00 for adults. You can buy tickets at lunch, or online through
Mr. Ahern's teacher page.
The annual UNC Math Competition will be
held in room S-1417 tomorrow. It
is a 90 minute test that is open to all students. Please sign-up in the
math office by Mr. Low's desk. If you have any questions please see Mr.
Low in the math department.
Attention juniors and seniors who are
interested in the Washington D.C. trip this spring. Please see Mr.
Hawthorne or Mrs. Winn ASAP in the Social Studies office so you can register
for the trip and pay the enrollment fee. Registration for the trip and
the first payment are due no later than Friday, November 4th.
Your Senior Class Panoramic
Pictures will be taken on Thursday, November3d at 7:50 AM in the gym. Remember - this is the ONLY time
pictures will be taken of your whole Senior class, so DON'T MISS OUT! You
only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE on Thursday at 7:50 AM!"
The deadline to submit your membership
packet for FBLA has been extended to today. If you are interested in
joining FBLA this year, please come to the business department office to pick
up a packet.
The DECA Candy Drive
is here! Got any extra candy from Halloween?! Bring it in by this Thursday to
the Business Office! All proceeds will go to Developmental Pathways - A group
that supports people with disabilities, and our Troops Overseas! Be a part of
this great cause!
Today, the Post Grad Center will host
Arapahoe Community College and Regis University. Seniors interested in Fort Lewis College should complete
their application this week. Sign
up in Naviance to come to the application visit on Friday. The
representative will have your application reviewed and the fee will be
waived. Please sign up in Naviance!
Athletics
The Fall Swim Waiver will be given at
AHS on Thursday, November 17th @ 6:00am in the AHS pool. There are
limited spaces available. You must email Mrs. Leyden or stop by the Women's PE
Department to sign up. Students currently attending AHS, LHS, or HHS may take
the waiver. The next swim waiver will be in March 2017.
Attention Volleyball Fans! You Varsity Warriors earned the
right to host Regionals this post season! We play at 10.30 and 1.30 right here
in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium! Come out and cheer them on as they work to get a
bid to the State Tournament! GO WARRIORS!
