Congratulations, Arapahoe!!!! Arapahoe made The Dean’s List, as one of the Top 20
Colorado Schools in the September issue of 5280
Magazine. Schools were chosen
based on assessment scores for both academic achievement, as well as student
growth, in all 3 areas of reading, writing and math. Way to go, Warriors!
Good Morning Warriors! The Cafe is
featuring a new item today: Cafe Rio taco or enchilada plates.
Lunch today: pizza, variety of
cold sandwiches, and salads. Stay ahead
of the summer heat with frozen yogurt or a cold beverage. Be a nutrition
champion and fill up on veggies and fresh fruit . . . nice and cold. See you at lunch!!
Two very important sporting events are taking place this
weekend, and the Spear will be broadcasting them both! On Friday night the football team will take on
the Rangeview Raiders at 7 p.m. If you are
unable to attend, click on the Spear logo on the Arapahoe web page to watch the
live broadcast. Also, this Saturday at 7 p.m, ABK boys soccer team will be playing
in the championship game of the Warrior Invitational at LPS. This game will
also be available for you to watch live through the Spear. Support your Warriors by checking out the
Spear!
Do you have an amazing
talent that you want to share with the school?
The Homecoming Talent Show is coming up on September 30th,
and we are looking for fun and exciting acts to star in the show! Tryouts will be held on Sept 17th from 3:00 to
5:30, as well as Sept 18th from 5:00 to 7:30.
If you are interested, please pick up the tryout forms from the Main Office! These forms are available now, so start
thinking about showcasing your talent!!
Free Alive @ 25 class for AHS students Monday September 9th,
3 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The class is normally $39. To sign up go to the alive
@ 25 website or there's a link on the schools website or talk to Deputy
Englert.

girl golfers . . . we will be having a meeting on Monday, September 9 at 2:30
in S11. Please attend the meeting for
golf information.
Attention AHS baseball players and families. If your son has
plans to play baseball next spring, please plan on attending this
year’s first Baseball Booster Club meeting. The meeting will take
place Tuesday, September 10th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum.
Coach Luke Muller and the Board will be discussing the plans for the
upcoming season and provide a quick review of the past spring
and summer seasons. While players are always welcome to attend the Booster
Club meetings, this one is not mandatory—but our next meeting on
October 8th will be mandatory for both parents and players (so
please put that date on your calendar).
