Do you have an amazing
talent that you want to share with the school?
The Homecoming Talent Show is coming up on September 30th,
and we are looking for fun and exciting acts to star in the show! Tryouts will be held on Sept 17th from 3:00 to
5:30, as well as Sept 18th from 5:00 to 7:30.
If you are interested, please pick up the tryout forms from the Main Office! These forms are available now, so start thinking
about showcasing your talent!!
Free Alive @ 25 class for AHS students Monday
September 9th, 3 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The class is normally
$39. To sign up go to the alive @ 25 website or there's a link on the schools
website or talk to Deputy Englert.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity volleyball team
for their win over Chaparral last night in 3 games. Thanks to all the
fans who came over to support the team. You were outmatched by Chaparral
in number, but definitely not in spirit! Tomorrow night
the Warriors face Ponderosa in their first home game of the season. Games
are at 4, 5, and 6:15. Stop by the gym before you head over to the football
game!
Congratulations to the boys Varsity tennis team
on their win over Grandview! The
Boys JV Tennis Team beat Grandview yesterday 96 games to 33. Great start to the
season JV.
Congratulations to the boys JV soccer team who
defeated Lincoln 4 - 1 yesterday. The boys will play Niwot Friday @ 5:30 here
at AHS. A huge congratulations to
the Boys Varsity soccer team who beat Niwot last night 2 - 1. ABK will play
Broomfield Saturday night @ 7:00 at
LPSS for the Warrior Invitational championship.
Interested
girl golfers . . . we will be having a meeting on Monday, September 9 at 2:30
in S11. Please attend the meeting for
golf information.
Attention AHS baseball players and families. If your son has
plans to play baseball next Spring, please plan on attending this
year’s first Baseball Booster Club meeting. The meeting will take
place Tuesday, Sept 10th, at 7:00pm in the Forum. Coach
Luke Muller and the Board will be discussing the plans for the
upcoming season and provide a quick review of the past
Spring and Summer seasons. While players are always welcome to attend the
Booster Club meetings, this one is not mandatory—but our
next meeting on Oct 8th will be mandatory for both
parents and players (so please put that date on your calendar).
