Announcements
'Tis the
season for college visits! Representatives from over 100 colleges are scheduled
to visit Arapahoe in the next 6-8 weeks. Remember to pick up a blue visit pass
in the Post Grad Center and get permission from your classroom teacher to
attend visits during a class time. Please limit visits during class time to three.
You may attend as many as you like during unscheduled hours.
Attention Seniors: Your Senior Class Panoramic Picture will be
taken on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:50 a.m. in the Main Gym. Remember - this is
the ONLY time pictures will be taken of the entire Senior Class, so DON'T MISS
OUT! You only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE
on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:50 a.m.
Juniors, the PSAT test will be taking
place on October 15! Registration is going on now in the Guidance Office.
Just bring your photo ID and $15 to sign up for this important test!
Also, Math and Language Arts study sessions for the PSAT will be offered next
week at 6:30 a.m. in Room S-10. The math sessions will be on Tuesday,
October 7th and Thursday, October 9th. The Language Arts
sessions will be on Wednesday, October 8th and Friday, October 10th. Come
to these sessions so you’ll be even better prepared to take the PSAT!
Athletics
All four
levels of Warrior volleyball had an impressive showing against Mullen last
night. Freshman and JV teams both won in straight sets. Varsity fought hard to
come out victorious in Game 5. Congratulations, Warriors! Come support us at
our next home game tomorrow against
the Eaglecrest Raptors.
The
Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Overland yesterday by a score of 1-0. Mike
Chism scored the goal, and James Conley had another outstanding game in goal.
David Packer got 5th place in the State Tournament earning All
State Honors, one of the highest finishes ever by an Arapahoe Golfer. Congratulations David!
Good luck to the boys tennis team today at Regionals! Go Warriors!
Open gym
today at 5:30 p.m. in the Main Gym for boys basketball. Tomorrow open gym will be at 5:30 a.m. Remember to register online.
Registration
for the 2014-2015 girls swim and dive season is open. Go to www.ahsgirlsswimdive.com and click on Registration to get
started. Additionally, plan to join us today in the Forum for the new swimmer/diver
meeting from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

the AHS girls lacrosse team needs your help to join us next Monday, October 6th
from 7 p.m. to
8:15 p.m. for the annual kick off meeting for all
players and parents in the AHS Forum. We are excited
to welcome our Freshman families as well as all returning players!
Our fun and talented Coaches, Stacey Birlson and Carrie Levi, will join
us this evening. All athletes, experienced and inexperienced, are
encouraged to come hear about the AHS Girls Lacrosse 2015 plans. Please bring your friends looking for an
