Attention all dodgeball players that are playing in the DECA
Dodgeball Tournament. There will be two rules meetings held next week. The
first meeting will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Forum. The second
meeting will be held on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Forum. All
team members must attend one of the rules meeting. Attendance will be
taken at the meetings. If you do not attend one of the meetings you will not be
allowed to participate in the tournament.
Would
you like to pay off that library fine and at the same time donate to the Food
Drive? Now until October 30th you will receive a 50 cent credit
off your fine balance for every nonperishable food donation you bring in to the
library. Plus all money collected on fines during this time will be
donated to the food drive. To ensure
that you receive credit toward your fine, personally hand your donation to any
of the library staff. Help yourself while you help others.
Hey
Speech and Debate … remember all forms and fees are due by October 30 in
order to compete. This includes all returning members. Turn them in to Mrs.
Schroeder's desk in the English office.

Arapahoe writers and artists! Do you have a poem, college essay or personal
narrative or story? What about artwork or photography? Submit your work and
become part of The Muse! We are currently looking for all writing and
artwork to publish in this year’s magazine! The deadline to submit work is
October 31st . Don’t miss out

Athletics
Yesterday’s
playoff game against Westminster was suspended due to darkness, with the score
tied 1-1 in the second overtime. The game will resume today at 3:30 at the Varsity Field. Come out this
afternoon and cheer the Warriors on to victory.
Football
Fans! Come cheer on your Arapahoe Warriors this Saturday at 1pm as they play
Smoky Hill at Stutler Bowl Stadium. Great Weather, Great Game, Great Fun! Don’t

The boys
and girls Varsity cross country teams will be competing on Saturday, October 25 in the State Cross Country Meet.
Come down to Colorado Springs to the Penrose Event Center to cheer them
on! Girls 5A will be running at 11 a.m. and Boys
5A will be running at 1 p.m. Go Running Warriors!

Warriors! Come rock your run at the Stride 5k or 10k event on Sunday Oct. 26th at Ketring Park. You can register for
this run or walk event at www.runthestride.com . Thank you for supporting your
school and the LPS Foundation by participating in this district wide
event.

00pm in the AHS Cafeteria. Please bring your friends who have been
playing others sports such soccer, cross country, basketball, etc.

Pink Cards for Winter Sports will be
distributed in the Cafeteria on Wednesdays from 2:15-2:45 PM.
You must register online and have a current physical on file prior to receiving
