Attention Juniors and Seniors! If you were unable to
attend the Academic Letter Night this past Monday, please stop by the main
office and see Mrs. Clark to pick up your academic letter.
Calling all artists and writers. Muse, Arapahoe's own
literary magazine is currently accepting submissions. The deadline is December 18th. All submissions between now and December 18th will be entered into a raffle for free
stuff.
HO HO
HO Warriors!! The annual AHS Toys for Tots Drive is in full swing. Santa is
coming to bring a new toy for each boy and girl at Gilpin Montessori Public
School and the Denver Indian Center. We are well on our way to our goal of
1,000 new toys, but we still need your help. With Thanksgiving coming up,
be on the lookout for those sales. Please bring any donations to the attendance
office. Let’s make it a great holiday for the kids!
The first round
of club photos for the yearbook will be today starting at 2:30
p.m. on the theatre stage. The following clubs will be photographed: Hike
Club, History Bowl, Speech & Debate, TSA, Aspects of Society and Science
Bowl. See posters around school or your club sponsor for times and more info.
Hey Seniors! Student Council wants to invite you to
leave your mark on Arapahoe. Join us on December 2nd at
8:15 in the senior hallway to put your hand-print on the
senior wall! Afterwards head to the cafeteria for hot chocolate and
coffee.
Attention
Students! All lost and found items that have been turned into the office are
now on a table in the cafeteria. Phones, keys and other small items are still
in the attendance office. Please come by to take a look and pick up your items
by tomorrow.
Athletics
The varsity locker room lockers must be cleaned
out by Thursday, November 19th. Any items left after noon tomorrow will be considered
donations to a local charity.
For further
details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
