Hey
Warriors!! Thank you so much for all of your donations so far for Toys for
Tots! We are well on our way to our goal of 1,000 new toys for Gilpin
Montessori Public School and the Denver Indian Center, but we still need your
help! This is the last week to bring in toys before our sorting day this
Saturday. Please bring any donations to the attendance office. If you would
like to join us for the toy delivery to the school on December 16th,
come pick up a permission slip in the attendance office. Permission slips are
due by December 14th. Space is limited.
Student
Council is so amazed and appreciative of your generosity during the Miracle
Minute for Toys for Tots in Advisement. We raised $1,730.30! That will buy
approximately 86 toys! Thank you all, and a special thanks to Mr. Eggleston's
class for raising the most money and winning the donuts for the next Advisement
period.
There will be an important TSA meeting tomorrow after
school at 2:25 in room E9. This is a mandatory
meeting for ALL TSA members where we will be passing out the paperwork and
information for those wanting to participate in the State TSA Conference in
February. See you then!
Hey Seniors! Student Council wants to invite you to leave
your mark on Arapahoe. Join us this Wednesday at 8:15am in
the senior hallway to put your hand-print on the senior wall!
Afterwards head to the cafeteria for hot chocolate and coffee.
Attention Students! This weekend, the Theatre
Company class will be competing at the state conference. Come see the best
actors in school perform the pieces they will bring to the Thespian Conference tomorrow night at 7pm in the theatre. Admission is free, so
come see performances in acting, singing, and technical design.
If you applied for membership in National Honor
Society, you should have received a letter in the mail indicating whether or
not you were accepted, as well as instructions on how to RSVP for next Monday's Induction Ceremony. Please RSVP
today if you haven’t already. If you didn't receive a letter, please see any of
the sponsors today to inquire.
Attention Key Clubbers! This is a very busy
time of year for us and we have lots of important events scheduled for the next
few weeks. Please make a point to attend our upcoming meetings this afternoon
and next Monday if possible. Remember, if you are
unable to attend, you may check the AHS Activities link to review the weekly
presentation notes and stay involved!
