Juniors and Seniors: Anyone interested in taking a
Concurrent Enrollment class next semester at Arapahoe Community
College should plan on attending a meeting today in the
forum. This will take place during both lunches, so feel free
to bring your lunch. Applications will be available at that time
and the deadline to register will be at the end of October. This is another
great opportunity to earn both high school and college credit. Please see your
counselor for more information.
Warriors, October is Safe Schools Month! Stop by the
tables in front of the counseling office in the cafeteria during both lunches
to contribute to our gratitude chain and to pick up resources for keeping
yourself and others safe.
We hope to see you there!
Athletics
Last evening, the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team was victorious over
Cherokee Trail by a score of 7-1. Noah Anthony, Reid Conant, Cameron Gail, and
Jacob Vogel scored for Arapahoe. The Junior Varsity lost a tough
overtime battle to Cherokee Trail, 2-1. Great effort Warriors! Be sure to mark your
calendars for next Tuesday’s match, where we will honor our 11 seniors on
senior night.
"Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams on
some outstanding running yesterday at the Centennial League Cross Country Meet.
Arapahoe had the #1 runner in 5 out of the six races, with James Logan
finishing as the Centennial League Boys Champion. The JV boys, JV girls, Open
boys, and Open girls teams swept all of their races including a perfect score
by the Open boys team. The Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls both finished 3rd in
very close and highly competitive races. Great job runners and good luck the to
Varsity teams next week at Regionals."
Congrats to the Warrior volleyball program as the sophomore, JV,
