General Announcements
This afternoon, the Post Grad Center
will host the University of Denver. On Tuesday, both Westmont College and
Colorado Christian University will visit AHS. Please log in to Naviance for

The Daniels Fund Scholarship
application is now open. Are you a senior who demonstrates strength of
character, leadership potential, community service, academic promise, and a
well-rounded personality? The Daniels Scholarship is a “last dollar”
scholarship that will pay toward the remaining costs of a scholar’s education
after all other grants and scholarships are applied. The scholarship is only
awarded to students from our four-state area There is a need-based component to
qualify. Stop by the Guidance office and see Mrs. Kostra for more information.
Athletics
The boys’ tennis team competed at the
state tennis tournament this weekend. Congrats to 1 singles player Tyler
Landen for his first round win against Ponderosa and the #2 doubles team of
Simon Alger and Garrett Lumley for their win over Heritage. With their
wins, both teams advanced to the quarterfinals.
Congrats to the Freshman Volleyball
team on winning the Grandview Classic Tournament! This is the last week of
league play. Come out and support us as we play at Grandview tomorrow night! G0

Boys’ Soccer community honors seniors Jeremy Belin, Evan Bunch, JJ Carl, Reid
Conant, Jacob Draudt, Ethan Fahn, Mason Gueller, Caleb Loring, Nick Ryan, Danny
Trawick, and Trevor Young as they play their final regular-season home game.
