and actors, they’re back. Fiddler on the Roof is coming up on April 17th,
18th, and 19th. You can purchase tickets online, just go to Mr.
Ahern’s teacher page OR we will be selling tickets during both lunches starting
this Thursday! Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults. Mazeltov!
PROM is approaching and, gentlemen, your
tuxedos rentals need to happen soon. Please consider renting your tuxedo from
Mens Warehouse located at County Line and University. AHS wins and earns cash
back for every AHS rental from Mens Warehouse. Get there soon to get fitted for
fashion!
Hey Warriors!
Prom royalty voting will be held this Thursday, April 10, in the
cafeteria! Juniors and seniors, stop by
at any time during the day to cast your vote.
Choose wisely, we will have a king, queen, prince, and princess, as well
as junior attendants. The court will be
announced at the prom talent show on April 24.
Seniors! Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent
your class . . . audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time
open auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 15. Please sign up for your audition at
Mrs. Debow's window in the Guidance Office. If you
have any questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts.
If
you would like to audition for the prom talent show to be held on April 24th,
auditions are taking place tomorrow from 2:30-3:30 pm and Wednesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. You need to sign up for a time slot at the front desk
in the Main Office before 3:00 pm TODAY in order to audition. Don't miss out on this great
opportunity to showcase your talent!
Remember to join the Art Club tomorrow for our last open studio. We will be
painting all of the bowls we made this last month after school in E4. See you
there.
The Muse staff and faculty sponsors would like
to thank everyone who submitted their fine work to us this year, and we would
like to extend our CONGRATULATIONS to all the artists and writers whose work
was accepted into the magazine. SAVE
THE DATE: We will celebrate those creative students on the night of Thursday, April 10th, in our annual Showcase in the Forum. This year,
faculty and staff have also contributed to the magazine, and we look forward to
seeing them at the Showcase night as well. Snacks will be served beforehand, and there will be music too. Again, congratulations to the writers and artists
for this year’s Muse! You help make Arapahoe what it is!
Athletics
Let’s
hear it for the boys and girls track and field teams –
Littleton’s reigning champs! They ran all over the competition at
Friday’s meet, emerging with fancy hardware and bragging rights for the year
ahead. Special kudos to sophomore Julia Hall – named girls’ VIP for her
outstanding performance in four events.
Congratulations to the
ABK Varsity Girls Soccer team as they dominated their rivals Heritage
High School and came away with a win! Lauren Conley scored the winning
goal for the Warriors. Come out and cheer them on as they play their first League
game against Grandview at our home field at 4:30 on Tuesday.
The
Freshman Warrior Baseball team continue on their winning streak with a record
of 5 – 1 after a win over Castleview on Saturday. This week they have three home games so
come and support them as they face Grandview at 4:30pm on
Wednesday. Saturday is the
big one against Heritage at 11:00 am.
Congratulations
to our sophomore baseball team for 15 - 0 win beating Mullen on Saturday!!
Come cheer on the team when they play Grandview Monday and Tuesday at 4:30
at Grandview and then when they play Heritage at Heritage on Saturday at 11:00. Go Warriors!
The
Arapahoe Boys Swimming and Diving Team hosted the Warrior Invitational this
weekend. The boys placed second at the meet and Anthony Belitz took first
place in the Diving Competition.
