Attention Freshman! Hearing and Vision
testing is taking place next week from Monday, April 28th to
Thursday, May 1st. You will
be testing during your U.S. History class. Please be sure
to wear and/or bring your glasses or contacts to school next
week. Thank you!

Prom dance guest forms are available in the Attendance
Office. All forms are due by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29th.
Attention seniors. A $1,000 scholarship will be offered
to one student looking to attend college next year. In order to apply,
you must have taken a Personal Finance class. Please stop by the Business
Department or the Post Grad Center to pick up an application. All
applications are due May 1st.
Are
you struggling with stress? Do you find life overwhelming? Then SOS group
is for you! SOS, or Strategies for Overcoming Stress, is an open group where
all Arapahoe students are welcome to come and learn about strategies to help
with stress, difficult-to-deal-with situations, and trauma symptoms. We meet Mondays during 2nd lunch and
Thursdays at 1st lunch in Room C24. The group is co-lead by Jaime Webster, a
therapist from Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network, Dr. Song, AHS
school psychologist, and Mr. Bast, AHS school counselor. All are welcome!
Athletics
The annual Three Sisters Girls Lacrosse
game (Heritage-Littleton vs. Arapahoe) will be held on Friday, May 2nd.
The games will be played at Littleton
Public Schools Stadium. JV
will play at 6pm (followed by Senior Recognition Night at 7:15) and then
Varsity will play the Three Sisters Game at 8pm.
Heritage-Littleton will be recognizing 6 graduating seniors and Arapahoe will
be recognizing 10 graduating seniors.
Arapahoe
Warriors, your Freshman baseball team currently has a 12 – 2 record. This
afternoon at 4:30pm they go up against Highlands
Ranch. Come and cheer them on as they go for another win and while you
are there you can get all the snacks you want from the shack. See you at 4:30 on the Varsity field. Go
Warriors.
Contrary
to popular belief, Philly isn’t the only place with a Liberty Bell.
Littleton has one, too - it’s one of the biggest track meets this season.
The starting line is at LPS Stadium this afternoon at 4pm, with final events
stretching into Saturday.

Both
the JV and Varsity Girls’ lacrosse teams have Away games this afternoon against
Smoky Hill High School. Both of the games will be played at Laredo Middle
School, not at Smoky Hill. The JV game will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the Varsity game at 5: 45 p.m.
Lacrosse fans, we need you to come out and support your Warriors!

Then tomorrow, Saturday, the Girls’ Varsity lacrosse team will play Chatfield High School at Trailblazer Stadium. Game time is11:30 a.m. We really need all of our fans at this game, as this will be a very tough contest, and Chatfield will have many vocal fans. Please come on out and help our Warriors win. Beat the Chargers, Arapahoe!

Hey ABK fans - you missed a game last night under the lights at
Stutler Bowl!
Even though your ABK Varsity Girls had a slow start and
only a 1-0 lead at half - they came STORMING back to beat Overland
10-0! Hat tricks by both Lauren Conley and Izzy Benasso and goals by
Amanda Cadorette, Paige Husa, Alex Jackson and Maggie Sexton led the
Warriors to another Conference Win. Support them at home on Saturday
at 11:00am on our home soccer field against Rocky Mountain!!! GO
