Congratulations to the Arapahoe girls’ Varsity lacrosse team in their decisive victory over Overland High School last Friday afternoon.  Thirteen different Arapahoe players scored goals, including some of the defenders, who had the opportunity to switch to offense during the second half.  The overmatched Trailblazers only managed one shot on goal, which was saved by goalie Brooke Engel.  The Arapahoe defense, basically shut down any offense Overland could muster.  The final score was 19 - 0.  Well done, Warriors!

After 100 minutes of play on Saturday, your ABK Varsity girls soccer team could not escape a tie against Thunder Ridge High School. Goals in the first half of play by Izzy Benasso and Maggie Sexton with assists from Lauren Conley and Amanda Cadorette, along with 8 saves from goalie Hannah Archuleta gave them an early 2-0 lead. The Warriors couldn't hold it though and 80 minutes of regulation play along with 2 10 min Overtimes ended in a tough 2-2 tie.  Come out and support them tomorrow as they continue in conference play against Eaglecrest on our home field at 4:30 pm. Keep fighting ABK!!!

Arapahoe's Junior Varsity girl's lacrosse team triumphed over Douglas County on our home field Friday, with a final score of 14-3.  The Warriors dominated both offensively and defensively, winning 70% of the draws and outshooting their opponents 26-5.  Impressive efforts by our Lady Warriors! Way to go Arapahoe!

The Freshman baseball continue to dominate their competition with a 9 – 2 record.  This week they have three home games on Monday, Wednesday and Friday all starting at 4:30 pm right here at Arapahoe and an away game on Saturday.   Come and support your Arapahoe Warriors as they go out onto the field and show how strong us Warriors are!  Go Freshman Warriors!!!

Congratulations to the boys’ track and field team for placing 2nd at last weekend’s Grandview Invitational track meet.  Nineteen schools … loads of competition … great job, Warriors!
