Roof right?
John: No to finally be
able to shave. Just kidding. Im excited for Fiddler on the Roof, which opens
THIS Thursday and runs until Saturday. Tickets are on sale now! Go to Mr.
Ahern’s teacher page to buy them online or you can purchase them during both
lunches. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Arapahoe High School was well represented this past weekend at the National Qualifying Speech and Debate Tournament held at Cherry Creek High School with ten AHS students competing. Special recognition goes to Ethan Snow for placing third in International Extemporaneous Speaking. Congratulations Ethan and to all of our competitors for a job well done.

Have you
always wanted to use the school loud speaker? Would you like sharing the
Arapahoe news for the day? If you are interested in reading the daily
announcements next year, sign up for auditions in the Attendance Office with
Mrs. Ayres. Auditions will be held on
April 21st, right after school.
Today
is the last chance for seniors to sign up for tomorrow's audition for keynote
graduation speaker. Sign-up
is in Ms. Debow's office in the counseling center. Sign up ends at 2:30.
Tomorrow is
your last day to get involved in helping to make bowls for the Art club’s
upcoming fundraiser. Join us tomorrow right after school in E4 to glaze the ceramic bowls
we have been making. Hope to see you there.
Attention all FBLA Members. Are you
interested in becoming an FBLA Officer next year? Applications are now
available in the Business Department and are due Wednesday April 16th.
Attention seniors. A $1,000 scholarship
will be offered to one student looking to attend college next year. In
order to apply, you must have taken a Personal Finance class. Please stop
by the Business Department or the Post Grad Center to pick up an application.
All applications are due May 1st.
The medicine class pre-registration
is open now! Go to the Science Department web page to register by April 24th.
The MUSE Showcase was a huge success, and we
still have a limited number of copiesd of this year’s magazine left for
sale. If you’re interested, bring $15 to
Mr. Miles in the Language Arts Department.
This volume has writings from both students and staff, and is a very
special magazine. Get them while they
last!
Athletics
The Varsity Tennis Team finished in 1st
place at the Phil Krause Tennis Tournament on Saturday. The team had 4, 1st place finishes. Great work
ladies!! An amazing team effort. Come out this week and support the
Varsity and JV Tennis Teams. The teams play at AHS & Powell today and Thursday starting at 3:30.
Saturday night
in Fort Collins, your ABK Varsity Girls soccer team continued their winning
streak with another win in Overtime! Goals by Izzy Benasso and Kai-Bin Ooi
along with an assist by Maggie Sexton propelled the girls to their second OT
win. ABK never gave up until they were victorious! Tomorrow night they continue League Play
against rivals Cherry Creek under the lights of Stutler Bowl at 8:00 pm.
