Well, then I have great news for you! Fiddler on the Roof is next week on April
17th, 18th, 19th by our very own Arapahoe theatre. You can purchase tickets
online, just go to Mr. Ahern’s teacher page OR we will be selling tickets
during both lunches starting TODAY! Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for
adults. Mazeltov!
Congratulations
to the three competitors who competed in the International Optimist Oratory
speech on Tuesday. Ethan Snow won first place for the boys
and Addie Finch won second for the girls. Way to go Warriors!
Hey Warriors - remember that quiet study rooms
are available today, periods 3 through 6.
We will celebrate Arapahoe's artists and
writers tonight at 7:00 pm, with our annual Muse Showcase in the Forum. This year,
faculty and staff have also contributed to the magazine, and we look forward to
seeing them at the Showcase night as well. Snacks will be served at 6:30, and we
look forward to seeing you all at 7:00 pm when the
event begins. Volume 12 of The
Muse will be on sale tonight for
$15. If you can't make it, see Mr. Miles to get your copy.
Attention all students . . . Tomorrow is College Friday sponsored
by College in Colorado. So pull out that t-shirt or sweatshirt and show
your support by wearing your favorite college gear to school.
Seniors! Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent
your class . . . audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time
open auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 15. Please sign up for your audition at
Mrs. Debow's window in the Guidance Office. If you
have any questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts.
Attention all FBLA Members. Are you
interested in becoming an FBLA Officer next year? Applications are now
available in the Business Department and are due Wednesday April 16th.
PROM is approaching and, gentlemen, your
tuxedos rentals need to happen soon. Please consider renting your tuxedo from
Mens Warehouse located at County Line and University. AHS wins and earns cash
back for every AHS rental from Mens Warehouse. Get there soon to get fitted for
fashion!

Don't forget to vote today in the cafeteria from 7:00 to
3:00! Juniors and seniors, stop by at any time during

wisely, we will have a king, queen, prince, and princess, as well as junior
attendants. Seniors, you will also be voting on your class
favorites. The court will be announced at the prom talent show on April
24.

Attention seniors. A $1,000 scholarship
will be offered to one student looking to attend college next year. In
order to apply, you must have taken a Personal Finance class. Please stop
by the Business Department or the Post Grad Center to pick up an application.
All applications are due May 1st.

Athletics
Yesterday afternoon your Girls’ Varsity
Lacrosse players shone on a warm, sunny day at Newton Middle School
field. The Warriors dominated play over their league rivals, the Cherokee
Trail Cougars. The Warriors scored 10 goals in each half, with 12
different players scoring. The defense held the Cougars to just 7 shots,
leading to a final score of 20 - 3. Well played Warriors.

to the Varsity tennis team. The team was victorious over Chatfield yesterday.
Come out and watch the team play against Smoky Hill today at the AHS
courts at 3:30. The JV
Tennis Team defeated Chatfield yesterday 10-2. Come out and watch the JV team
play against Smoky Hill today at Powell at 3:30.
Congratulations
to the girls golf team for taking 1st and 2nd place out of 22 teams in a
tournament yesterday in Thornton. These players include Anisha Choi, Beth
Lebar, Piper Koy, Ireland Clouse, Maddie Fania, Gabby Gomez, Brooke Rothfield
and Hannah Eddy. Special congrats to
Freshmen Anisha Choi for winning the tournament. Go Warriors!
The
Arapahoe girls Junior Varsity lacrosse team tamed the Cherokee Trail Cougars
last night in an impressive 18-1 victory. The Warriors took an early lead
with a score of 10-1 in the first half. There would be no more scoring by
the Cougars and an additional 8 goals scored by our Arapahoe Warriors. The
entire team contributed to the victory, and we thank our coaches for their
leadership and support! Way to go Arapahoe!
Come to
the pool today to cheer on your Warrior swim and dive team as we host both
Heritage and D'Evelyn High Schools, beginning 4:30 pm. And on Saturday, we host Lewis Palmer High at 9:00 a.m. Go Warriors! Claim your
lane!!
With
weather like this, it’s too nice to go home! Have some fun in the sun
this afternoon while cheering on our JV track and field athletes as they heat
up the competition against Cherry Creek, Mullen, and Smoky Hill. Tomorrow, Varsity
athletes test their endurance with the two-day Pomona Invitational at Jeffco
Stadium. Go the distance, Warriors!
