Attention AHS girls lacrosse fans … last Friday, your #4 ranked AHS girls’ Varsity team made history! For the first time ever, the Warriors became the champions of the Centennial League. This occurred after their 15 - 3 victory over the Smoky Hill Buffaloes, resulting in a Centennial League record of 7 - 0. Congratulations, to the 2014 Centennial League Champions. Way to Go, Arapahoe!
Attention
Arapahoe girl's lacrosse fans! We have two more victories to report for
our Junior Varsity girls lacrosse Team! Last week, JV dominated the Air
Academy Kadets in the K-Dome. Offense and defense playing amazing,
shutting down the Kadets 13-2. The score was 10-0 at half and Arapahoe
continued their efforts until the very end. Our goalie also contributed,
saving 10 out of 12 shots! The wins continued with a victory over the
Smoky Hill Buffaloes. Our Warriors were in control from the opening draw and
ended the game with a final score of 13 to 7! Impressive wins for our
Lady Warriors! Keep 'em coming girls! Go Arapahoe!
The ABK girls JV soccer team secured another win on
Saturday, conquering Rocky Mountain HS 4-1. Goals by Daisy Mercer,
Kathleen Fedorowicz, Kiley Dindinger, and Casey Smoots gave the Warriors the
winning edge, along with another great goalie effort by Kali Barber! Come out to cheer on the JV girls this
Tuesday at 4:30 on their home turf against Mullen for their last regular
season battle. GO ABK!
Hey
Warriors, come out and cheer on the men’s swim and dive teams on Tuesday.
It is senior recognition night so help honor them at their last Centennial
League home meet. Also, come cheer on the diving team as they go for an
undefeated season! Watch Arapahoe’s top diver, Freshman Anthony Belitz,
as he aims to improve on his team high, 5th ranking in the state! Go
Warriors!
Come and
celebrate the Warriors Varsity baseball team's very successful season (they're
12-3) this Tuesday,
April 29th at home as they
play their last regular season home game against the Overland High School Blazers
before heading into state playoff action. Game time is 4:15 pm.
Come cheer
on the Junior Varsity baseball team as they take on the Eaglecrest
Raptors today! Stop by and cheer on your players and have a snack at the
concession stand today
at 4:30. Go Warriors! Beat the Raptors!
