“Ring Bells”

Good morning, Warriors! Here are the results of Friday’s Avalanche of Toys and Miracle Minute competitions! The generous spirit of Arapahoe was truly on display as a total of 395 toys and almost $3700 were donated! All in one day, one class period and one minute! Way to go Warriors! Remember, all toys and money donated goes directly to benefit our Toy Drive, Field Elementary, and the Denver Indian Center.
And now, for the winners of the two class contests! First, the third period that brought in the most toys as a percentage of students in the class (and, actually, the most total toys, too), and winners of the $5 Chipotle gift cards for each student, was Ms. Smith’s class at 291% (and 96 toys). Congrats to Ms. Smith’s class! Your gift cards will be delivered soon!
Next, the third period that brought in the most money (and, actually, the highest percentage per student, too), and winners of a class doughnut party, was Ms. Lombardi’s class with $477 (and 1447%)! Congratulations to Ms. Lombardi’s class!
Remember, the real winners during our Toy Drive are the kids at Field Elementary and the Denver Indian Center. The Toy Drive continues through this Friday, December 8th. Keep the donations coming! Thank you, Warriors, for your amazing generosity and support!

Come join us this Wednesday night when the Drama Club will present T.E.S.T., a new original play, at 6:00pm. Admission is free. Then feel free to stay for the Thespian Showcase and watch what the AHS Company class will bring to this years’ state competition.
