 General Announcements

*Warriors - the 22nd Annual Arapahoe Toy Drive has begun. This year, we are supporting Field Elementary and the Denver Indian Center. Our goal is to raise $4000 and collect 1000 toys.  Don’t forget, you can keep donating toys until December 15th (no weapons or toys that require batteries). 


*Warriors there will be a FREE ‘Alive @ 25’ class Thursday, December 14th at  3:45pm - 8:15 pm in room W1874.  If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 ½,  you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot insurance companies give you a discount.  This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us.  To register for the class the password is "arapahoe".  Any questions ask Deputy Englert.




Athletics

*Good luck to our Warrior Wrestlers TONIGHT as they take on Grandview @ Grandview starting at 6:00pm.  Come cheer on the Girl and C Level wrestlers at their first home meet on Friday, December 1 starting @ 5:00pm.  Then GET READY for the Annual Warrior Invitational at AHS on Saturday, December 2.  Come see some of the most exciting wrestling and cheer on our Warrior Wrestlers!


*Attention - all ABK Girls playing preseason indoor soccer: Indoor payment and registration must be received by TOMORROW, December 1st.  Please make sure you are checking your email and submitting payment this week through Venmo or check.  If payment and registration is not received by December 1st you will lose your spot on a team.   If you have any questions or concerns please see Coach Winn in room C1436.

*Get ready to cheer on our Boys Basketball teams TOMORROW at Legend.  Varsity is at 7:00pm after JV at 5:30pm.  Fresh & Soph teams will play at 4:00pm.

There will be a silent auction and "Chuk-a-Duck" opportunities to win Chick-Fil-a for a year.  We’ll have amazing speakers and even more amazing basketball. ThunderRidge, Rangeview, Valor and Arapahoe will be playing.  All donations will be going to the BTR organization to serve Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness!  LET"S SLAM THE STIGMA!

*Warriors - join us TONIGHT for our FIRST Annual Boys Basketball Crosstown Throwdown from 6:00pm-9:30pm.  Ticket will be on sale during both lunches in the cafeteria and bubble, $5 for students and $10 for adults.  Also, the first 500 fans get a rally towel and BTR bracelet.

*Hey, National Honor Society members!  Our next chapter meeting is TODAY during both lunches and after school.  We will be meeting in the Forum.


*You’re INVITED to join us TONIGHT in the AHS Theatre for an evening of music featuring the combined LPS District Orchestra.  The concert will feature approximately 150 high school string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students from AHS, HHS, and LHS performing a variety of music. The event is free and open to the public.

*Congratulations to your Arapahoe TOMS as they rounded out their first week of competition with three 1st place wins in hip-hop for the Varsity team, and a 1st and 3rd in hip-hop for JV.  Keep your eyes on the Varsity TOMS as they prepare for State at the Denver Coliseum on December 9. GO TOMS!
