*Former Students of Powell Middle School, please refrain from "visiting" Powell Middle School during their school hours (8:45 am-3:50 pm).  You are only allowed to be on their campus if you have communicated with the teacher you are planning to "visit" ahead of time, and scheduled a visit with them after school hours. If you are discovered on campus or in the school without prior permission, you will be asked to leave.  If you continue to come on campus after being asked to leave, you may be ticketed.
*The lost and found table will be located in the cafeteria this week. Any remaining lost and found items after today will be donated.
*Congratulations to the following students who successfully auditioned and were selected to participate in the University of Colorado High School Honor Band on February 22-23, 2019 in Boulder -- Sydney Calla and Rachel Merrill.  Congratulations!!!

*Anyone up for free Chick-fil-A? Or how about 52 weeks of Free Chick-fil-A??! Then come support your Warriors tonight and try your hand at  tonight's halftime half court shot competition. More Free stuff will be available and all to support our Varsity Boys as they battle Dakota Ridge TONIGHT, 5:30 pm here at Arap.   Raffle tickets are $1 each.  Bring cash!

*Come out to cheer on your LPS Hockey team this Friday night when they face the 1st place team, Regis Jesuit. The game is  at 5:40 at Family Sports Center.

*You might be wrapping up your finals and getting ready for a long rest, but your Lady Water Warriors are hard at work!  Yesterday our Dive and JV Squads continued our winning streak in a dual meet vs. Overland. During break, on January 3 we have a home meet vs Regis Jesuit and Lewis Palmer.  Varsity and JV swim compete at 10 AM, Diving competes at 1:00 PM. Come cheer on our Girls!

*January 7th, have dinner at Chipotle!  33% of all sales from 5-9 PM benefit AHS Girls Swim & Dive.

Some of the activities include: making calming jars, coping techniques, therapy dogs, and more. Make sure to come check it out, and take care of yourself this week.
*The latest edition of The Herald magazine hits the news-stands today. Get your copy from your 2nd period teacher, or look for copies in the cafeteria news-stands and in the library.

*Seniors, please answer survey questions for the yearbook. Check your LPS email account for the link which was sent out last Friday. Thanks!

*Last week our Lady Water Warriors had another victory in a dual meet against Cherokee Trail and on Saturday, we took 25 athletes to the highly competitive Colorado Coaches Invitational in Thornton.  Our girls finished in 3rd place with 218.5 points!

*Today, our top divers travel to Thornton for the Prelim round of Diving in the Colorado Coaches Invitational at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton. Competition begins at 5 PM. Saturday morning, our top swimmers get their chance at Prelims, meet begins at 8:30 AM and Saturday afternoon will culminate with Swim & Dive Finals beginning at 4 PM.

*Warriors! Come watch your Arapahoe Warrior Wrestling Team take on Heritage tonight,  OUTSIDE at LPS Stadium. Matches begin at 4:07 pm!

*Who doesn't love a good game where we win against our rival?  Yep. You heard right. We need every Warrior to represent your Warrior Pride as your Boys Basketball Varsity Warriors claim victory against Heritage.... tonight - At Heritage --  7:00 pm. Don't miss one of the most spirited games of the season!
And don't forget, JV plays tomorrow at 12:30 pm at Heritage.

*Yesterday our Dive & Varsity Swimmers brought home another win for the season.  We also add 3 more swimmers to our State Roster, Senior Captain Gabreece VanAnne in the 100 Fly, Junior Anna Wetzel in the 100 Free, and Sophomore Lyndsey Wehr in the 200 IM & 100 Back!  Congratulations Ladies! Go Warriors!

*Girls Swim & Dive News: Last Saturday our Arapahoe Gold Team brought home a win while Arapahoe Black finished in 4th place out of 9 teams at the Arapahoe Relays.  Way to go! Also on Saturday, diving captains Franny Cable & Kirry Belitz completed their state qualifying requirements!
This afternoon at 5:00 our Dive & Varsity Swim teams compete at Arapahoe against Cherokee Trail.  Come out and cheer on your Lady Water Warriors!
On Friday & Saturday, our top Girls Swimmers and Divers will participate in the Colorado Coaches Invitational at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton.  Go Warriors!
