MS Weems: Hey Seniors!  Tomorrow is a very special day for the Class of 2017.  Bring your yearbook, your appetite and get ready to party.  Starting at 10:00 a.m. there will be music, games and a barbecue taking place in both gyms.  Then at 1:00 you will wrap up your final day of high school by picking up your cap and gown in the Trophy Hallway.  It’s gonna be a blast and we look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow morning at 10 in the gym – Go Warriors!!

Athletics

Congratulations to your ABK Ladies as they won their State Soccer Quarterfinal match up against Cherokee Trail yesterday afternoon by a score of 4-0.  Goals we scored by Dani Babb, Haley Archuleta and 2 by Audrey Weiss.  Your Warriors move on to the Semi Final round on Saturday at Legacy Stadium where they will take on Broomfield High School.  Please plan to come for some great soccer on Saturday and to cheer the team on!  GO ABK!

Come support your Water Warriors this weekend at the state meet at Veterans  Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton! A combined 15 athletes will be representing AHS! Fast swimming and amazing diving is a guarantee! Swimming prelims start Friday at 4:00 PM, diving prelims are Saturday at 9:30 AM and finals for both begin Saturday at 2:30! Boys swim is doing great with league record breaking times and several state qualifiers,  keep up the hard work and good luck at the championships!

Come watch the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Semi-Finals as the Arapahoe Warriors take on the Regis Jesuit Raiders tonight at 7 pm at Legacy Stadium.  If they win tonight they will be going to the state championship game this Friday.  Go Warriors!


Please come out to LPS Stadium on Wednesday as the Ladies ABK will take on Cherokee Trail in the Quarterfinals of the State Tournament.

Athletics

The GLAX Lady Warriors played their best lacrosse of the season and defeated the #5 Columbine Rebels 12-11 in overtime Friday Night.  With this victory, they move on to the Quarterfinals to face the #4 seeded Chaparral Wolverines.  They play today, Tuesday,
 at 4 PM. Chaparraal High School.  Come out and support the team!

 Attention Swimming Fans: Senior Captain Griffin Eiber broke the Centennial League 200 Individual Medley record on Saturday. He also won the 100 backstroke. New state qualifiers include: Jr Chris Glantz, Senior Connor Babbs and sophomore Drake Hamption.

Your ABK scored a huge upset win on Friday, beating Thunder Ridge by a score of 1-0.  Sydney Maxson scored the lone goal off a free kick and Grace Cadorette was in goal for the shutout.  Please some out to LPS Stadium on Wednesday as the Ladies will take on Cherokee Trail in the Quarterfinals of the State Tournament.  GO ABK!

Student Council would like to thank all who voted in our office election last week. We had many amazing candidates! You have voted in a group of dedicated Class Officers and we look forward to their leadership in the 2071-2018 school year. Congratulations to all of you!

Tonight is the night for the Theatre Topics Improv show and Company Showcase! We need lots of great suggestions from the audience, so come be a part of this annual tradition. Then stick around to see the best actors and technicians in school perform scenes, monologues, and show off their designs. It all starts at 6:00 pm, admission is FREE!

Athletics

Please come out and support your Ladies ABK soccer team as they take on Thunder Ridge this afternoon at 4:30 at Shea Stadium in Highlands Ranch.  This is a 2nd round playoff game and the team can use all the support they can get!  So come out to the game and cheer loud for your Warriors!


It’s playoff season for Girls Lacrosse!! The Girls lacrosse team faces Columbine Tonight, Friday,  at 7 P.M. at Trailblazer Stadium.  Come out and support your warriors!


Please come out tomorrow to support the boys varsity lacrosse team as they face off against Mountain Vista for the second round of the Playoffs.  The game is Saturday at 3 pm and Legacy Stadium. Go Warriors!

The Club Rugby team has advanced to the State Semi-finals.  The game is this Saturday at 5:30 pm at Dicks Sporting Park against Northside. Please come out and support us!

Seniors (and any other students not returning to AHS next year), if you want to take your Google Docs with you, please check your email and/or the AHS website for instructions on how to do that. Students who graduate from AHS (or leave to go to another school) will have their accounts deleted over the summer, so please make sure you have taken anything you want before then.

Come see students from these classes perform with their final grades on the line, and the best part is - you have a say in who wins. So, come show your support tomorrow night at 6:00.

All girls interested in trying out for softball in the fall need to attend the preseason informational meeting, TODAY, Wednesday, at 6:30 pm in the Forum. Players and at least one parent should plan to attend the meeting. See Coach Krueger if you have any questions.

Congratulations to your Ladies soccer team as they beat Denver East 3-0 last night in the first round of the 5A playoffs.  Grace Parsons led the way with 2 goals and Audrey Weiss had 1.  The defense had a solid night stopping the Angels and Kali Barber recorded the shutout in goal.

 Come out and support your ABK as they take on Thunder Ridge High School on Friday at Shea Stadium.  Game time is still to be determined.

Looking for a night of theater?  Well, this Friday night will be jam-packed with the Theatre Topics class performing an Improv competition, and the Company class performing their showcase of monologues, scenes, and theatrical designs. Come for the improve, stay for the showcase, it all starts at 6:00 this Friday in the auditorium.


If you have a chrome book checked out,  please check your school email and/or the AHS website for instructions on when, where and how you will turn them in at the end of the semester.
