CONGRATULATIONS to the Arapahoe Girls Tennis Team!

State Championships were held this weekend and Arapahoe finished 4th in State as a Team!

These three positions won their 2nd rounds and finished 4th in State!

These teams won their first round at the State Tournament:

General Announcements

Attention National Honor Society and Link Crew student volunteers for Arena Scheduling, please attend a short meeting today, Friday May 13th in the Forum at 2:20 p.m. to go over the duties for Arena Scheduling, see you there!

Today is the last day to pick up your yearbooks! Please get them in the cafeteria during lunch! Thank you.

All books are due back to the library TODAY. Monday, May 16th is the deadline to pay all fines.
Your registration card will be held if you have any outstanding fees or fines. Check with Bookkeeping if you need more information.

Lost and Found: Please check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office for smaller items.

Seniors: please pick up your photo collage from After Prom in the Main Office.

Students please aware that during the four days of finals the library will be a QUIET STUDY AREA only. If you need to have group discussions for an assignment please do it in the cafeteria. Thanks for your cooperation.

All Arapahoe track and field athletes that will not be competing at the state meet need to turn in your uniforms at noon on Monday down in the cage are. Pizza will be provided for lunch. Good luck to the track team today as they compete at their league championships at Legacy Stadium.

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team travels to Colorado Springs today for their second round play off game against the Air Academy Kadets. The game starts at 5:00 p.m. at Pine Creek High School. Come out and cheer the Lady Warrior Lacrosse team on to victory.

General Announcements

Yearbooks will be distributed during both lunches in the cafeteria and after school. Yearbooks must be picked up by tomorrow. Don’t worry about photo ID.

Seniors: Cap and gown pick up will take place in the auxiliary gym this Friday, May 13, from 12:30 to 2pm. All your fines need to be cleared up in order to pick up your cap and gown.

Tomorrow, May 13th all books are due back to the library. Monday, May 16th is the deadline to pay all fines.

Any student planning on taking a Concurrent Enrollment Business or English class through ACC needs to take the Accuplacer test being offered today, May 12 from 2:30-4:30 in the Business Computer Labs, S2 and S3. See Mrs. Swank if you have questions.

Boys Varsity Lacrosse advances in the State Playoffs 14-7 against Colorado Academy last night at LPS.

Today’s League Track Meet has been postponed until tomorrow.

Congratulations to the ABK Varsity Girls Soccer team for a 1st round playoff victory over Northglenn. They will take on Legacy Friday night for round 2 of the playoffs. Come support ABK! Go Warriors!

General Announcements

Hey, students! Remember that your registration cards are due back in the Guidance Office by 2:30pm today. Many classes require teacher approval, so don’t forget to get those needed signatures! Also, remember to have one of your parents sign your card before you turn it in.

Yearbooks will be distributed during both lunches in the cafeteria and after school all week. You must have some sort of photo ID to pick up your yearbook. Yearbooks must be picked up by Friday, May 13 in order to get books cleared before final exams.

Hey FCCLA: Don’t forget about our year-end celebration after school today in room E2. We will be having root-beer floats, signing yearbooks, and recognizing members for their outstanding achievements.

Attention all cross country and distance track runners, or others who are interested in building their running endurance. Come to the Summer Running Club informational meeting today at the beginning of your 4th hour lunch period outside at the baseball bleachers. In case of bad weather, please meet at the exit doors near the forum entrance at the end of the trophy hallway. If you are interested but unable to attend, please see Coach Lutz for information.

Congratulations to the varsity girls golf team. They were second at regionals to complete their regular season, in which they finished first or second in every tournament. Katy Dyachkova finished fourth, Claudia Davis was 5th, Hannah Wood was 8th and Holley Schaefer was 14th overall. They now will defend their state championship May 23 and 24.

Junior Attendants please attend an important meeting today at 2:30 in the forum.

General Announcements
• Yearbook distribution will take place today from 2:20 to 4 p.m. NO BOOKS will be distributed before 2:20.
• If you are not sure whether you purchased a yearbook, please check your fees receipt or look at the lists posted by the journalism room E-8.
• You must have some sort of photo ID to pick up your yearbook, or you can use a printout with your photo from Infinite Campus.
• You may NOT pick up books for friends or siblings on Monday.
• Beginning Tuesday, May 10, books will be distributed during both lunches in the cafeteria.

Congratulations once again to the girls JV Black lacrosse team for another win Friday night against Heritage-Littleton. The 11-8 victory brought JV Black's season to a close, and meant that the team finished the season UNDEFEATED! Way to go, Warriors!

The girls JV soccer team defeated Grandview 2 – 0 in their final game of the season Friday. The team ended the season as undefeated Centennial League and Warrior Invitational Champions. Congrats on a GREAT season ladies.
