It's time again for the annual Arapahoe High School FBLA Volleyball Tournament! The coed tournament is on Wednesday, April 4th starting at 6pm. The tournament has a sports theme this year, so get 8 to 10 of your friends together and pick-up a registration packet. Packets will be available tomorrow in the Business Department. Hurry!! Packets will be going fast!

You can watch Logan, with her accurate shooting and Olivia with her break aways dominate the Regis Unified team. See you all tonight!!

The girls swim and dive team All State teams were announced over the weekend. Congratulations to Diver Franny Cable for being named to the first team All State and to swimmer Delaney Smith and diver Kirry Belitz for being named to the second team all State! Congratulations Lady Water Warriors!

Our girls basketball team is still in the battle of the state playoffs! They will travel to Horizon High School on Tuesday, February 27th for a 6:30 p.m. game. Let's pack the house with Warriors to support the team in this exciting postseason "Sweet 16" game. Ticket prices will be $9 for adults and $7 for students. Jill Athenour, an Independent College Counselor, will give two identical keynote addresses called Taking the Fear (and Stress) Out of College Admissions. She will separate facts from myths and reduce anxiety that can cloud perspective on the college application process. There are several all new breakout sessions as well! Please check your email next week for detailed information and to RSVP.

Your LPS Hockey team finished the season 2nd in their conference and 5th in the state. They had a bye in the first round of the state playoffs and will play in the 2nd round today at 12:45 vs. Aspen at Ice Ranch. If they win today, they’ll play the 3rd round tomorrow at 5pm at Ice Ranch. Please come out to cheer on the team!!

To support the unified team, you can purchase a Unity For Unified T-shirt for $15! We are selling them in the cafeteria today, be sure to wear it to the game tonight!

Our Lady Warriors basketball team defeated Arvada West last night 68-38 in the first round of the state 5A basketball tournament. Round 2 will be this Friday against Chaparral at Chaparral High School. We hope to see you there.

The boys basketball team travels to Rangeview to take on the Raiders tonight at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices will be $6 for students K-12 and Senior Citizens. Adults will pay $8. Let's travel down the basketball playoff road as we bring Warrior spirit to our teams this week. Go Warriors!

The meeting will be held in the School Cafeteria from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Our pre-season camp for all prospective Boys Lacrosse players will be held February 20th through February 23rd at Lorenz Park from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tryouts are February 26th through March 2nd at Lorenz from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Finally, the Annual Spring Fling Fundraiser for the Boys Lacrosse Program will be held at the Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton this Friday, February 23rd. Your LPS hockey team had a great win last night against Columbine, 6-2. They will be playing Res Christian Saturday at 1:15 at Northern Colorado. Stay tuned for information about playoffs.

Your LPS hockey team had a strong 3-2 WIN against Aspen in overtime on Saturday which puts them in the #1 spot in their conference. The team has 2 big games this week so please come out to cheer them on! They face Columbine on Thursday at 8pm at South Suburban and Res Christian on Saturday at NOCO in Fort Collins at 1:15 pm. 

Congratulations to the Lady Water Warriors on their 4th place finish at State this past weekend! Diver Franny Cable was crowned State Champion, with a score of 531.45! Senior Delaney Smith finished her career in style with a 4th place finish in the 100 breaststroke and a second place finish in the 200 Individual Medley. Dive coach Jeff Smith was honored as the Diving Coach of the Year! Way to go team! 

Your Boys Basketball Warriors have two remaining games in regular season. Tonight at Cherokee Trail High School at 7 pm and Friday night, here at Arapahoe at 7 pm against Overland. Come support your fellow Warriors as they finish out the season strong.

Since it’s Valentine's Day tomorrow, the Freshman student council would love to give some appreciation to our fabulous ​staff at Arapahoe! We are so thankful for all that you do! All staff members are welcome to visit the staff lounge tomorrow morning before PLC meetings to enjoy a Santiago's breakfast burrito!!! Students, please stop by our table during 1st and 2nd lunch tomorrow and write your favorite teachers either a quick thank you or make them a special valentine! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!"

The PE and Health Department is sponsoring Wellness Week this week! All Staff and students are invited to participate in this challenge. Check the Arapahoe website for the wellness challenge worksheet. Look and listen for physical, mental, and social health tips all week long. And this WEdnesday, Valentine’s Day, we will be wearing the color red for heart disease awareness. Invest in your health today and join us today!

Your LPS hockey team had a strong 3-2 WIN against Aspen in overtime on Saturday which puts them in the #1 spot in their conference. The team has 2 big games this week so please come out to cheer them on! They face Columbine on Thursday at 8pm at South Suburban and Res Christian on Saturday at NOCO in Fort Collins at 1:15 pm.

Congratulations to the Lady Water Warriors on their 4th place finish at State this past weekend! Diver Franny Cable was crowned State Champion, with a score of 531.45! Senior Delaney Smith finished her career in style with a 4th place finish in the 100 breaststroke and a second place finish in the 200 Individual Medley. Dive coach Jeff Smith was honored as the Diving Coach of the Year! Way to go team!
