*CALLING ALL WARRIORS!!  Next week is Warrior Week!  Get ready to have a blast all week with fundraising, restaurant nights, dodgeball, a carnival, dress-up days and MORE!!.  Show our Wish Kid Alyson some love on Friday at the Warrior Week assembly during TRIBE by wearing BLUE, her favorite color.  Warrior Week T-shirts are on sale during both lunches for $7.  All proceeds go to our fundraising to help Alyson get her wish of meeting the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team.   


*Hurry up Warriors - get ready to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! There are only a limited number of spots left for the Dodgeball Tournament next week! It only costs $10 for each player and a team must consist of 10 people, 3 must be girls. The TOURNAMENT is on March 19th at 6:00pm AND players must be there at 5:30pm. Stop by the Activities office to pick up a form from Mrs. Peterson.  Come have some fun and help make Alyson's wish come true! 


*Time to get your PINK on and come see the AHS production of ‘Mean Girls’ on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.  Come support the hardworking and talented Performing Arts students who have put so much time and effort into this production!  Tickets can be purchased online at bit.ly/ahstheatre.  


*Sophomores & Juniors... is University of Oklahoma on your college list? Come to the Postsecondary Center TOMORROW, Thursday at 10:05am to visit with an OU admissions counselor to see if it's a good fit for you. Please get a pass from Ms. Conn or your counselor if you'll be missing class.


*Hey, National Honor Society Members, remember to meet in the cafeteria after school TODAY to cut and hang shamrocks.  See Ms Price with questions.


*This Thursday, March 14th, is College Colors Day! Whether it's a team you follow, where you've committed, or where you dream of going, wear your favorite college gear & help celebrate higher ed!


*ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS! The Art Attack is Back! The 20th Annual Art Attack is underway, and the Art department is now collecting pieces for the show. If you are interested in entering, please swing by the Art office and fill out your entry forms. We will be collecting art work now through Friday, March 22nd so don’t wait. For more information or any questions please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. Davidson, or Mrs. King.

Whether you’re a student navigating the college path or a parent seeking clarity, don’t miss this opportunity to get a true insider’s look at the Admissions Process with a Q&A Panel of College Admissions Counselors at 6:00pm followed by a College Fair at 7:00pm.

*Congrats to our Warrior Varsity Baseball team on their victory in their home opener win against Thunder Ridge.  Come out and cheer on the Freshman team TODAY at their home opener against Thunder Ridge at HOME after school at 4:15pm.

*Good Luck to our Boys Varsity Swim & Dive team as they take on Cherokee Trail at HOME today @ 5:00pm.

*Attention National Honor Society Members: Come to room N1485 TODAY during both lunches to cut out shamrocks.  Bring your lunch, hang out with friends, and earn service credit.  You can also earn service credit on Wednesday after school by cutting out and hanging shamrocks.  We will meet in the cafeteria at 3:40pm.


*Is Arapahoe Community College on your college list? Sign up for Arapahoe's ACC Discovery Field Trip on April 5th to see live and in person what ACC has to offer! The bus leaves at 9:00am sharp and will return by 2:00pm. Lunch is included.  Space is limited.  See your counselor or Ms. Conn in the Post Secondary Center by Tuesday, March 20th to register!

*Congratulations to the Arapahoe Warriors on the Okanagan Hockey team. This past weekend the team won the USA Hockey, Rocky Mountain District Champion Tournament after they went undefeated. As champions, the team secured a bid to the National Championship Tournament in Fargo, North Dakota in April.  Congratulations Okanagan Hockey Colorado!

*Good luck to the AHS Girls Tennis teams TODAY as they take on Chatfield.  Varsity is at 4:00pm at the Ranch House-Ken Caryl.  JV Black plays @ 4:00pm at Chatfield HS.  JV Gold plays at Holly Tennis courts @ 4:00pm.


*Come cheer on your ABK Girls Soccer teams TODAY as they take on Rock Canyon.  Varsity plays at 5:00pm  @ Centennial Stadium, JV Gold  plays at 4:15pm on the AHS JV grass field.  C Level plays Mountain Vista @ Mountain Vista HS at 4:30pm.


*Support your Warrior Girls Lacrosse teams TODAY as they take on Rock Canyon.   Varsity plays at 6:00pm after JV at 4:00pm.  Both games are at Halftime Help Stadium,  


*Come get loud and cheer on the AHS Boys Baseball teams TODAY as they take on Thunder Ridge.  Varsity plays at HOME @ 4:15pm.  JV plays at Thunder Ridge HS @ 4:15pm.


*Good luck to the LPS Boys Volleyball teams TODAY as they take on Thunder Ridge @ Thunder Ridge HS.  Varsity is at 6:30pm after JV @ 5:30 pm and C Level @4:15pm.

*ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS! The Art Attack is Back! The 20th Annual Art Attack is underway, and the Art department is now collecting pieces for the show. If you are interested in entering, please swing by the Art office and fill out your entry forms. We will be collecting art work now through Friday, March 22nd so don’t wait. For more information or any questions please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. Davidson, or Mrs. King.


*Warriors - just a reminder: there is a Free Alive@25 class TODAY in room W1874 from 3:45pm - 8:15pm.  If you signed up for the class, please show up.  If you did not sign up, but would like to take the class, just come to W1874.  Any questions ask Deputy Englert.


*Attention National Honor Society members:  Please check Google Classroom for information on service opportunities before Spring Break.  We have events planned for weekends, lunches and after school.  See Ms Price in room N1485 with questions.

*CALLING ALL Senior boys.  Will you be the next Mr. Arapahoe?   The contest is on Monday, April 29th.  The deadline for submitting an application is TOMORROW, Friday, March 8th and we want YOU to sign up to show your school spirit.  Look for the QR code on signs throughout the school.   


*COME BE A PART OF our Wish Week Carnival! Calling all clubs, sports, and departments to create an exciting booth for our carnival. This amazing fundraiser is on Thursday, March 21st, from 5:00pm-8:30pm. Check with any teacher, coach or sponsor for a sign up sheet.  Don’t miss your chance to help our incredible wish kid, Alyson!


*Hey Warriors! Are you a member of the National Honor Society or Key Club and looking for volunteer opportunities? Come help serve food AND our community at Littleton United Methodist Church at the Break Bread event this Saturday, March 9th at 3:30pm.  Contact Parker Lollini or Ms Price for more information.

*Warriors - the Be Happy Boutique is coming back to Streets of SouthGlenn!  This is the last weekend for an opportunity to get formal wear (dresses & suits) for all of your formal events — from prom to homecoming and everything in between at a price you can afford.  They are located at Streets of Southglenn - across the street from H&M.  They follow a pay what you can model - all are welcome

*AHS Baseball games have been postponed for this evening.  The games have been rescheduled for Monday, March 18th.

*Come out and cheer on your Girls Lacrosse teams TONIGHT as they take on Thunder Ridge at HOME on the turf field.  Varsity plays at 6:45pm and JV plays at 8:15pm.

We want you to create an exciting booth for our Wish Week Carnival.  Past booths have consisted of face painting, obstacle courses, snow cones, race car tracks, spin-the-wheel, trivia games and other fun events. This amazing fundraiser is on Thursday, March 21st, from 5:00pm-8:30pm. Check with any teacher, coach or sponsor for a sign up sheet.  Don’t miss your chance to help our incredible wish kid, Alyson!
