Announcements:

All speech and debate team members competing in this weekend's state qualifying tournament should plan to attend today's meeting after school at 2:30 in C15.

Attention all members of National Honor Society... There are 2 important events coming up for our organization. The first is our monthly meeting next Wednesday March 7th, after school in the forum. The second is our club photo for the yearbook, which will be taken before school in the gym next Thursday, March 8th. This is the last day of TCAP testing, so juniors and seniors in NHS should gather in the gym for our photo at 11:00 before school starts. Please mark your calendars now, and then remember to be there on Wednesday for our meeting and on Thursday for our club photo. Thanks!

Good Morning Warriors . . . The State of Colorado has mandated that Littleton Public Schools raise student lunch prices to meet state requirements. This Thursday, March 1st, the current $2.75 student lunch price will increase to $2.90 and adult meals will increase to $3.40.

Attention Seniors - the time has come to pick up your graduation announcements and accessories from the Herff Jones representatives on Friday, March 9th during lunch in the cafeteria. All balances due must be paid in full to pick up your order. Remember that personal checks will not be accepted at delivery. Money Orders, cash and credit cards are accepted at delivery. Please plan to pay for and pick up your graduation order at this time. Cap and gowns will be picked up at a later date.

TCAP begins on Monday, March 5th. Freshmen and Sophomores need to report to school by 7:15 a.m. Monday. Please check out the TCAP Room Assignments that are hanging on the Security Office wall in the Cafeteria for your assigned room. Juniors and Seniors will not be allowed in the building before 11 a.m. All students will begin classes at 11:35. Schedules are posted around the building.

Athletics:

The Arapahoe Boys and Girls Basketball teams have advanced to the "Sweet 16" round of the 5A State Championships! The boys will host Legend tonight, February 28th and the girls will host ThunderRidge on Wednesday, February 29th with both games set to start in the Main Gym at 7:00 pm. Ticket prices will be $8 for adults and $6 for students. All students will need to purchase a ticket to attend these games. Go Warriors!

Hello Warrior fans . . . It's a white out! Be sure to wear your white and come show your support tonight night at 7:00 for our Varsity boys basketball team as they take on Legend in the Sweet Sixteen playoffs. This will be our last home game of the season and there will be prize give-a-ways and a 5th quarter party at Qdoba following the big game.

Auditions for the 2012-2013 Tom Toms will be held on March 20th through March 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym. A mandatory parent/athlete meeting will be held on Monday, March 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum. All interested girls should attend.

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team for their impressive 2nd round win in the State tournament on Saturday over Mountain Vista 54-25. The win featured tremendous team defense, while the Lady Warriors were led in scoring by Carly Buechler and Amanda Martinez. Thanks to all of the students and faculty that came out and supported the team on Saturday.

Good Morning Warriors! Tonight, the Boys' Basketball Team (21-2) takes on Tigers of Grand Junction in second round action. Tip-off is at 7:00 pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Tomorrow, the 2nd seeded Girls' Basketball Team (18-5) will be playing Mountain Vista in the second round of the playoff. Tip-off is at 1:00 pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Please come out and support our Warriors.

Spring sports registration will continue today in the Cafeteria in the mornings from 7:00 to 7:15 a.m. and then again in the afternoons from 2:15 to 2:30 p.m. Required paperwork is available in the Athletic Office. Deadline for registration is today.

Announcements:
