*Spring 2021 In-Person Daily Bell Schedule

 

*The Happiest Week of the Year is almost here Warrriors! Arapahoe has partnered with Make A Wish Colorado for 13 years to help grant wishes and bring hope and joy to kids like Grey who are living with a critical illness. Our spirit filled week of giving will be centered around all things GREY and her wish to one day have tea with Belle at Disney World. Our annual Warrior Week starts this Saturday, April 3rd. Watch the Make A Wish Impact Video & MEET GREY.

 

*Warriors.... Gather your friends and come to play at Monster Mini Golf next week Tuesday, April 6th between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. It’s Arapahoe night at Monster Mini Golf! Buy tickets for $10 and half of that will go towards helping our wish kid Grey. Tickets will be on sale during lunches on Monday and Tuesday next week (cash or check payable to AHS). 

 

*Sophomores and Juniors! AHS has partnered with the Princeton Review Company to offer FREE PSAT, SAT, and ACT practice tests.  Go to the Post Grad website to register for as many tests as you would like by this Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.  Registration will give you access to the practice tests until the beginning of August.

*AHS Thespians present The Addams Family, a comedy musical on April 8, 9 & 10 at 7:00 p.m. The musical will be live-streamed. Purchase your live-streaming tickets at the Online Box Office.

 

*Warriors! Remember your daily checklist: your mask, your student ID, washing your hands frequently and following the directional arrows in the hallways.

*Girl Golfers...There will be a Mandatory Meeting for you and your parents on Tuesday, April 6th at 7:00.  The Google Meet Link is on the Golf Webpage.  Please see Coach Riordan if you have a question.

 

*Lady tennis players... sign up for some tennis drop in play sessions offered this month. Go to the tennis team app to sign up for weekly sessions or email Coach Weyhrich or Coach Abner.

 

*Interested in DIVING? Come meet our new Boys' Diving Coach, Cory Drost, and Dive Captain, Collier Dyer, at the pool this week (March 29th-April 1st) after school from 3:45-5:15 to learn the basic dives (Diving 101) needed to begin competing this season and get a chance to see what's required to be a diver at AHS! If you cannot join us every day or are curious, then just stop by to say hello. *Calling all SWIMMERS!! Join us after school next Monday, April 5th, for the start of our three-week swim clinic with Coach Richmond! *Hey Warriors! Do you know a senior guy that would be great as Mr. Arapahoe 2021? Someone with great school spirit and the heart of a Warrior? Remind him to fill out the sign-up survey on ICAP. The deadline is today!

*Seniors, if you have time over break, apply for these scholarships:

  • Do you have a record of volunteerism?  Apply for the Claire Davis Memorial Scholarship, a $2,000 award for an Arapahoe senior.    

  • The Beau DeVane Veyette Memorial Scholarship wants to award a student who can articulate why they desire and and need a scholarship for college.  Check out the details in Naviance. and apply by April 1st.

  • The Centennial Youth Achievement Award application is now open and ready for applicants! Find the link in Naviance and apply by April 9th.  

  •  You've all taken Personal Finance - now apply for the Arapahoe High School Personal Finance Scholarship by April 15th for a $1,000 award toward your education!

*The Arapahoe Cheer teams competed in the 2021 Centennial League Cheer competition last night. JV took home 1st in the all-girl JV division, and varsity placed 2nd in the all-girl varsity game day division. The varsity squad takes on the Colorado state competition next Thursday, March 25th, and JV state is April 3rd. Amazing job and good luck ladies!

*Arapahoe High School is hosting a Virtual Job Fair today, March 17th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Employers are looking to fill current and summer positions and include: South Suburban, Perfect Pools, Windcrest, Chick-Fil-A, Cherry Hills Care Center, Tony’s Pool Service, Inverness, Primrose of Littleton, Rocky Mountain Bottled Water and more. Students check your email or click 2021 Arapahoe High School Virtual Job Fair to register or contact Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department if you have any questions.
