 General Announcements

*It is that time of the year again, our annual homecoming flag football tournament.  Please get a team together, between 6 and 10 players and come sign up in the attendance/ activities office. You have until September 5th to sign up and space is limited. You are guaranteed to play 3 games on Saturday September 7th with the possibility to play on Wednesday, September 11th.

* Seniors! Herff Jones will be at AHS, in the Bubble Entrance, on Friday, September 6th, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm to take orders for graduation announcements, souvenir tassels, senior apparel, and much more! If you are also interested in ordering a class ring or letter jacket, they will have sizers available to try on and will be able to take your order for those as well. 

Athletics

*AHS Girls Volleyball hosts this year’s ARAPAHOE vs. Heritage volleyball game this Tuesday September 3rd in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium! Games start at 4:30, Varsity plays at 6:30. Come out to support your Warriors!

*Unified Kickball - the first home Unified kickball game is on Wednesday, September 4th at 4:00pm.  The Unified Team will be playing our own AHS Warriors Boys Baseball team. Come cheer on our players!  If anyone is interested in joining Unified Sports as a player or peer partner please contact Mrs. Abner asap.

*AHS Football - Come Cheer on your Warrior Football team at their opening games for the season! Varsity is TONIGHT at 7:30 vs Mountain Vista at Halftime Help Stadium.  Freshmen and JV play Mountain Vista tomorrow at LPS Centennial Stadium.  Freshmen at 9:00 am and JV at 11:30am.

*College Colors Day - Tomorrow - Friday, August 30th, is College Colors Day at AHS! Whether it's a team you follow or where you dream of going, wear your favorite college gear & help celebrate higher ed! 

Athletics

*Unified Kickball - the first home Unified kickball game is on Wednesday, September 4th at 4:00pm.  The Unified Team will be playing our own AHS Warriors Boys Baseball team. Come cheer on our players!  If anyone is interested in joining Unified Sports as a player or peer partner please contact Mrs. Abner asap.

*The AHS Warriors Boys Golf Team took 2nd Place this week in their Centennial League Tournament behind the incredible performance of our golfer who won the tournament with 10 birdies!  Your Boys Golf team is currently ranked 5th in the state!

*Congratulations to the Varsity volleyball team for winning the ARAPAHOE Kickoff Tournament over the weekend! Come see your warriors in action for their first official home game on Tuesday! Games start at 4:30 with varsity at 6:30!

*Congrats to your brand new Arapahoe girls flag football team on some big wins this weekend.  Varsity earned a huge win over Littleton and an overtime thriller to beat Heritage, earning the first ever Crystal Cup.  JV kicked off the season with a good win over Heritage. Next game is Wednesday, August 28 at 6:30pm at Columbine High School. Come out and support these ladies!

*Attention talented Warriors! Do you want to showcase your talent at this year's 2024 homecoming talent show? You're in luck! Auditions will be before and after school on August 26th.  Please scan the QR code on the posters around the school OR see Mrs. Roselli or Mrs. Johnson to sign up in advance!

*Attention Sophomore Drivers - A limited number of parking passes are now available to licensed sophomore drivers.  Permits are $50 and will be issued on a first come first served basis.  Once you have completed the google form and paid the $50 with the bookkeeper with cash or a check or on Infinite Campus with a credit card, you may see a Campus Supervisor at the East or West kiosks to obtain your permit.  You will need to bring your driver’s license and registration.

Athletics Schedule - it’s a busy weekend for our athletes!  Come cheer them on!

• Girls softball has a tournament on Friday and Saturday.

• All levels of Football are scrimmaging Ralston Valley tonight at the LPS Centennial Stadium.  Varsity starts at 7pm.

• Field Hockey plays at Cheyenne Mountain tonight at 5 and 6:15

• Girls volleyball has a tournament at AHS on Saturday. 

• Cross Country competes in an Invitational on Saturday at Wash Park

• Girls Flag Football kicks off their season on Saturday at the LPS Centennial Stadium.  Varsity plays Littleton High School at 10:30 and Heritage High School at 12:00
