*TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY—our Toy Drive Miracle Minute! Make sure you’ve brought a new toy, or come prepared with cash or Venmo to help us send an avalanche of toys and support to Field Elementary and the Denver Indian Center. Let’s finish strong and show what our Warrior students can do! 


*Warriors! Give the gift of life this year during our Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness Week. The annual AHS Blood Drive is next week on Tuesday, December 9th! Sign up to donate in the cafeteria at lunch or any time just outside of Mr. Miwa's office.


*Come see the CE Theatrical Production of - ‘4 A.M.’, TONIGHT in the theater at 7:00pm.  Tickets are free, donations are appreciated. 


*Attention Key Club Members! Our December meeting takes place after school in the Forum on Monday, December 8th. We'll be celebrating the end of our first semester and announcing some service opportunities taking place before the New Year. Check our Google Classroom page for details, otherwise see you there!



Athletics

*Come to the AHS  pool TONIGHT at 5:00pm to support your Girls Swimming and Diving team as they host Cherokee Trail.  Diving will start at 5:00 and swimming events will start at approximately 5:40pm. Good luck Warriors!

*Hey Warriors, the time has finally arrived! Your Girls Basketball teams open up the 2025-26 season at HOME TONIGHT against Vista Peak. Varsity will play at 7:00pm after JV plays at 5:30pm. This is our only home game in December and we would love to have everyone in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium ROCKIN’ THE HOUSE with WARRIOR Energy!

*Don’t forget - our Toy Drive Miracle Minute is coming up this Friday! Bring a new toy anytime this week to help support Field Elementary and the Denver Indian Center. If you can’t bring a toy yet, start planning to donate cash or Venmo during Friday’s Miracle Minute and help create an avalanche of kindness!


*Congratulations to John Eliot Fung who placed 2nd in International Extemporaneous Speech at the D'Evelynn Half & Half Speech and Debate Tournament on November 22nd.  Our Speech & Debate club meets Wednesday afternoons at  3:45pm in C1436.  We invite all to come have fun at a tournament and meet new friends from all over the Denver metro area.  We practice speech and debate techniques in the club meetings.

*Our JV and Varsity Boys Basketball teams lost tough games last night to Heritage. Congratulations to our Freshman and Sophomore teams for taking down the Eagles. Thanks to all who came out to support our teams. We are looking forward to the upcoming season! 

*Hey Warriors, the time has finally arrived! Your Girls Basketball teams open up the 2025-26 season at HOME TOMORROW against Vista Peak. Varsity will play at 7:00pm after JV plays at 5:30pm. This is our only home game in December and we would love to have everyone in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium ROCKIN’ THE HOUSE! Bring your WARRIOR Energy!

*Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving team on a hard fought loss to the Cherry Creek Bruins last night.  Your Warriors were so strong and at one point won four consecutive individual events, but in the end Creek proved to be a bit too tough.  The team is next in action at home on Thursday night.  Diving starts at 5:00pm and swimming at approximately 5:45pm.

*Our 24th Annual Toy Drive starts TODAY!  We are collecting toys for our very deserving LPS school - Field Elementary and also the Denver Indian Center.  We need any new, unwrapped FUN toys for ages 5-12 yrs old.  Please remember - NO toys that need batteries or  weapons.  We have our Miracle Minute/Avalanche of Toys on Friday, December 5th, so get ready to GIVE.  Collections boxes for toys will be at the east bubble and Forum entrances and the cafeteria.

*Hey Warriors - Bring your good luck and grab a dauber!  It's Turkey Bingo time!  Mr. Miwa will be calling the numbers in the cafeteria during both lunches TODAY - Gobble Gobble!  Come win a prize and celebrate the start of the Thanksgiving Holiday!


*Our Annual Toy Drive will be starting on Monday, December 1st.  Take advantage of those Black Friday deals to get some extra toys for our very deserving LPS school - Field Elementary and also the Denver Indian Center.  We need any new, unwrapped FUN toys for ages 5-12 yrs old.  Please remember - NO toys that need batteries or  weapons.  Some ideas - 

  • sports equipment, Legos, cars/trucks, yard games, STEM projects

  • craft kits, jewelry/makeup kits, dolls/squishmallows

*Come to the Girl’s Basketball Foundation games TOMORROW!  Doors open at 4:15pm and admission is by donation.  This event includes drawings to enter throughout the night along with a Chuck-a Duck contest to win Chick-fil-a for a year. There will be a fun 4th quarter that includes a coaches vs players game.  It is a great night with our expanded community of Valor, Thunder Ridge, Chaparral and your AHS Warriors. All donations will go to the Brought To Reality Foundation.

*Hey Warriors! Are you a photographer or interested in becoming one? If so, join the Arapahoe Photography Club! We meet every other Thursday in room E1288. It's low commitment, and if you can’t make the meeting feel free to join us after school during different events! No previous experience is necessary! If you're interested, look at the flyers around the school to find our Instagram and Google classroom! Our next meeting is TOMORROW.  See you there!
