 General Announcements

*Seniors! Please complete the Senior Exit Survey as soon as you know your plan for next year. Submissions received by May 2nd will be included in The Herald, and those received by May 10th will be included in the Awards Convocation ceremony. You must complete the survey before picking up your cap & gown for graduation on May 16th.  See Ms. Conn or your counselor for questions.


*Hey there, National Honor Society Members for the 2025-2026 school year:  Please check your email for information on running for an officer position next year.  See Ms. Price in room N1485 if you have questions.


*Join our AHS Pickleball Club for their first ‘Serve It Forward’ Pickleball Tournament and food drive on Friday, April 18th from 7:00-9:00pm in the main gym.  Come have fun and support our community with non-perishable food items that will be collected ALL DAY.  A food donation is required for tournament entry.  See you there!


*Warriors - the Arapahoe Herald staff is working on their next issue and we need pictures of your best ‘Promposal’ signs.  Send in your pictures with you or your friend’s ‘Promposal’ signs from the past. 



Athletics

*Congratulations to our Boys 4x100 meter Relay team for setting a NEW school record of 42.30 at the Varsity Invitational on Saturday.  The Fab Four includes Trajan F, Ryder K, Marcello J, and Lincoln P.  


*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Lacrosse team as they take on Northfield TODAY at Northfield at 5:00pm.  JV takes on Grandview at HOME at 4:30pm.  


*Good luck to our Girls Tennis teams as they take on the Overland Blazers TODAY!

*The Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse Team Is taking on the Cherokee Trail Cougars TONIGHT! Be there to support your home team as they inch closer to securing a playoff spot! Varsity Face off is at 6:00pm @ Legacy Stadium.  JV Faceoff will be @ 4:30pm at Cherokee Trail HS.  See you THERE!


*Your Boys Swim team swam great last night, but lost an energetic meet to Grandview that remained in the balance until the final race of the evening.  The boys are idle until next Thursday when they swim the Overland Blazers at HOME.

*Warriors - Did you know that it is National School Library Week!  Let’s celebrate and recognize the amazing work of Mrs. Romero. She pours so much into the library at AHS and does so much to support inclusivity, academics, and belongingness there. Stop by and share what you love about the library on the "What the Draw" poster outside the library. A big thank you to Mrs. Romero for all you do.

*Good Luck to our Girls Tennis teams as they take on the Smoky Hill Bisons TODAY @ Smoky Hill High School.  Matches start at 3:45pm.  

*Come pack the stands TONIGHT as the Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse team looks for their 6th win of the season in what will be an epic showdown against Cherry Creek @ HOME!  Varsity Faceoff will be @ 7:00pm at Littleton Stadium.  JV Faceoff will be at 4:30pm at Powell Middle School.  C team plays Ralston Valley

*Come cheer on your Girls Varsity Lacrosse team as they take on the Cherry Creek Bruins at HOME @ Centennial Stadium at 6:30pm.  JV will play before at 4:30pm.  

*Come out and support our Girls Soccer teams and get a great dinner TONIGHT at Canes in Highlands Ranch from 4:00-8:00pm.  Mention AHS Soccer and 15% of ALL sales will go to our team.  Dine in or take out, just join us!

*Warriors - get ready for the Annual AHS Job Fair on Thursday, April 10th after school until 4:30pm in the cafeteria.  Local businesses will be looking to hire students 14 yrs and older for full time, part time and paid apprenticeships.  Remember to dress for success and be ready to interview!    


*Warriors, do you have any extra fleece blankets or unused toys lying around! Then donate to ‘A Blanket Of Hope’, an AHS English 12 Capstone project.  All toys and blankets will be going to Children's Hospital Colorado. This is a student run donation and we would love your support. You can donate by either dropping off new stuffed animals or fleece blankets in the cardboard boxes around the school. Also, we are hosting a blanket/toy drive on April 11th between 1-3pm, at the bubble. Thanks for your support!

*Come out and cheer on your Warrior Boys & Girls Track and Field teams TODAY as they take on Littleton & Heritage High Schools at Littleton Stadium starting at 4:30pm.  

*Come help fire up our Girls Lacrosse teams TODAY as they take on Regis at Lou Kellogg Stadium.  Varsity will play at 6:00pm following JV at 4:00pm.  

*Your Arapahoe Boys Swim team notched a surprise win over the weekend at the Boys Warrior Invitational. With just 3 weeks left until the championship season begins the boys have a lot of momentum for a strong season finish.  The swimmers will be back in action on Thursday at Grandview.
