*Congratulations to both the Varsity and JV Girls Basketball teams for their wins last night over Regis! Both teams are now 3-0… undefeated! Way to go Ladies! Varsity will be taking their show on the road to Phoenix for the Nike tournament of Champions December 18-22nd. When you see these young ladies in the hall, make sure you wish them well and congratulate them!

*Our AHS Thespians did amazingly at our State Competition last weekend! We brought almost 40 students and performed 37 different pieces at the conference this year. Fifteen Warriors qualified for the National Conference. There were over 5,000 students at the conference this year. Our Thespian Officers were awarded a Thespian Troupe Spotlight for 2025. Seniors Aly Bruno and Ruby Danaceau were selected as among the top 3 duet acting scenes in the state and awarded with a Mainstage callback for their performance from Anonymous. Congratulations to all of our Thespians!
*Thinking about taking a gap year? Arapahoe High School will be hosting the Denver Gap Year Fair on Tuesday, January 20 from 6:00-8:30 pm. Learn about summer programs, internships, volunteerism, language schools and college credit. Eligible students who attend the fair can register to win a $5,000 gap year scholarship! See the Post Secondary Website or Scan the QR code on any of the many posters around the building for more information and to register.

*Warriors, the Counseling Department and Warriors Heart Club will be hosting our annual ‘De-Stress Event’ during both lunches on Monday, December 15th. Join us in the cafeteria to kick off finals week with some hot cocoa, make a glitter jar, visit with our therapy dogs, enjoy coloring pages at the tables, and help us make a paper chain to share positive messages and gratitudes as a way to de-stress before final exams begin.

*Friday night the Boys and Girls Wrestling teams put it down on Heritage High School! The girls won 36-30 and the Boys won 59-17! Well done! Congratulations to Lizzie Padilla who notched her 100th career victory on Saturday at the Widefield tournament.

If you participate in school activities, volunteer in the community and are enrolling in a vocational school, technical college or 2 or 4 year college or university in the fall, stop into the Postsecondary Center for more information or see the Postsecondary website for the application.

*Congratulations to our Varsity Cheerleaders for winning the 4A-5A State Championship title in the Game Day Division at the Denver Coliseum last night! Our Warriors came out #1 in a field of 42 teams in their division! This is the first State title for our Cheers since 2010. The cheers and their coaches want to thank all the fans who showed up last night to cheer them on. Please congratulate our cheerleaders when you see them. We will do an assembly to honor them in an upcoming TRIBE soon!
*Good luck to the Girls Swimming & Diving team at HOME TOMORROW at the Colorado Elite Relay Meet starting at 9:00am. Good job to the JV team last night against Ft. Collins. Despite some tough and fun racing our Warriors were defeated.
*ATTENTION - any Warrior guy who likes free tacos and is interested in swimming and diving in the spring: there is a FREE taco social on Monday, Dec 15 starting at 6:30pm at The Knolls Clubhouse. Come meet teammates and coaches, and eat a few tacos! Any questions, contact Coach Eric.

*Warrior Girls! The Warrior Women Exploring STEM club is making light up circuit holiday cards this Friday before school at 7:45am in W1882! Come and get your holiday cards done early while enjoying a holiday snack! New members are welcome!
*TODAY - ACC will be visiting the Postsecondary Center at 11:30am and the Air Force will be in the cafeteria during both lunches, come learn about the academy, AF ROTC, Space Force and enlistment!
