General Announcements

January 29th-31st at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and for sale in the cafeteria.

Congratulations to Senior Pianist, Wes Leffingwell, who was just selected to perform in the 2009 All State Band! This is the second year in a row that Wes has been selected to be in All State Band!! Congratulations Wes!!!

Attention all Science Bowl participants. On Wednesday 1/28, we will have a meeting in room W-101 after school! Please try to attend this meeting as we will be doing practice rounds and preparing for the competition. We will also be tie dying our lab coats. If you have any questions or cannot make it, please see Ms. Durow or Alyse.
Attention all DECA members! There will be a short meeting after school on Wednesday in Room S1. Friends and snacks will be provided!!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors. Are you interested in learning more about the vocational programs offered through Arapahoe/Douglas Career and Technical School (ACTS)? A representative from ACTS will be hosting an informational session regarding the many programs offered on Thursday, the 29th in the Forum during the lunch periods. Please attend to learn more about these amazing programs and how to apply for next school year. Please see Mrs. Boyce in the Guidance Office for more details.

Feeling artsy? We need creative and talented artists to help design the artwork for the 2009 Prom tickets. Think Venetian Affair! That means Italian and elegant. All submissions are due to Mrs. Crookham or Mrs. Kruck in the Math Office by Friday, February 13th. The design must be in black ink and the winner will receive either a Prom ticket or $30! The artwork will be featured on the Prom tickets and programs. All students are welcome to enter. Good luck and get drawing!

The Snowball Dance was a wonderful event on Saturday night. If you would like a souvenir ticket, you may pick one up in the Attendance Office.

Class rings will be delivered on Friday, January 30 during lunches.

Athletics

There will be a mandatory parent-athlete meeting for all girls who are interested in playing tennis this spring on Tuesday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Forum. All interested girls and their parents should plan on attending.

Boys interested in joining the Swimming & Diving Team should plan on attending a meeting with their parents on Wednesday, January 28 at 7 p.m. in the Forum.
