General Announcements

Hey all you Key Clubbers! This year we have tons of new and fun community service activities planned. Meet us today in room C16 to learn about all the fun projects we are starting.

Hey Warriors – “Pop” on in to the FCCLA meeting today at 2:30 in room E2 and learn about Arapahoe’s ultimate leadership experience. Food and prizes included!

Are you interested in acting or arguing? Come to the first speech and debate meeting tomorrow at 2:25 in room C-15. Contact Mr. Robinson if you have any questions.

The Drama club will be meeting Tuesday September 1st after school at 2:30 in the theater . Everyone is welcome, tell your friends.

Students, this is a reminder that our first PLC is this Wednesday, Sept. 2nd. Please remember that classes will begin at 9:21 a.m. on Wednesday.

Hey Arapahoe! Got talent? Come audition for the Fall Talent Show tomorrow or Wednesday, September 2nd. Sign up in the main office. The show will be September 22nd.

Students: Class ring orders will be taken Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3 in the cafeteria, from 10:30-12:15. A fifty dollar down payment is needed to place an order. Ring packets can be picked up in the main office or guidance office.

Attention Seniors: Your Senior Class Panoramic Picture will be taken Thursday, September 3rd at 7:50 am. Remember – this is the ONLY time a Senior Class Picture will be taken for the rest of your life, so DON’T MISS OUT!! You only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd Seniors will be dismissed from your first period class.

For all Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors interested in bringing a guest to Arapahoe’s Homecoming Dance, please make sure you pick up a blue Dance Guest Pass Approval Form located in the Attendance Office or Main Office.

Officer applications are now available for FCCLA – The Ultimate Leadership Experience! Please pick one up from Mrs. Rains if you are interested in becoming an officer. Applications are due back to Mrs. Rains by Friday September 4th!

The Muse Magazine, Arapahoe’s only publication of arts and literature created solely by students, is having its first organizational meeting today in E-11 after school. We are starting a brand new year and looking for new leadership and a creative crew of students who are interested in making this year’s magazine the best ever! The Muse club creates a professional magazine from start to finish, judging and arranging creative art, poetry, fiction and essays from our incredibly talented student body. If you have questions about it before then, ask one of the faculty sponsors about it: those sponsors are Mr. Miles, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Cladney in the Language +

ATTENTION ALL YOU ARAPAHOE ARTISTS! Art Club will hold its first meeting this year today at 2:30 in Room E11.

Student Council will hold its first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday August 25th at 6:45 in the forum. We invite all students to attend as we begin planning Homecoming.

Auditions for the fall show are Tuesday and Wednesday August 25 and 26. See theatre callboard or Mr. Earley for details. Drama club will have an audition workshop after school on Monday the 24th. The show is “Quilters”.
