General Announcements

Seniors: Plan to stop by and pick up your graduation tickets during lunches this Wednesday May 4, in the cafeteria. After that time the tickets will be released from the guidance office. If you requested extra tickets, those tickets will be released at the cap and gown pick up on May 13.

Attention all NHS members... Our last meeting of the year is scheduled for this Wednesday May 4th after school. At this meeting, senior members can just turn in their service logs and leave, and then juniors will hold elections for next year's officers. For service logs, you can also turn them in at Mr. Smith's desk in the science office anytime before the end of the school year. Juniors interested in running for office do not need to register ahead of time, but they should plan to speak about their qualifications for 30 seconds to 1 minute. See you Wednesday at 2:25 in the forum!

Do you love to dance or perform? Be a part of a winning tradition! The Arapahoe Color Guard is the top color guard in the State, and currently a Back to Back State Champion! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be on the 2011/2012 team! If interested, your journey begins on.....Monday May 2nd at 7pm, for the Info Meeting for Students/Parents in the AHS Band Room. Tryout Clinics are Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-7:30pm in the Aux Gym and Tryouts are Friday the 6th from 6-8:30pm! Applications for newspaper or yearbook staff are due on May 4th.

If you signed up for the Medicine Class you must get a sticker from Mr. Craig before you turn in your registration card. Please visit him in the science department.

Wanted: Science Student Assistants! Please visit the science department if you are interested in student assisting during the 2011-2012 school year. Once approved…you will receive a sticker on your registration card.

If you signed up to audition to read announcements next year, the auditions are Wednesday, May 4, in Room C20 after school.

Athletics

Congratulations to the Girls JV soccer team who defeated Mullen 2 – 1 on Friday. With the win the girls won the Centennial League Championship. Great work ladies!!!!

Attention all boys interested in trying out for the golf team in August. There will be a short meeting on Thursday, May 5, at 2:25pm in room S10. If you can't be there, give your name to another golfer or to Mrs. Weems in the Athletic Office.

Arapahoe JV White Lacrosse beat Douglas County High School 11 to 1. Please come out and support Arapahoe JV White on Monday against Columbine at Governors Ranch."
