General Announcements:

A reminder, as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct and the Student Planner on page 32A, boys and girls are not allowed to wear pajamas to school. This includes pajama pants and slippers. If you should have any questions regarding this rule, please contact your grade level administrator.

Hey AHS students . . . are you feeling that everything is being crammed in last minute before the semester? Have no fear, Link Crew’s Cramfest is here. Join us today after school in the cafeteria where you can receive assistance on final projects or help to study for your finals. Take advantage of the free tutors and cookies that will be present at the event. Trust me, you will not want to miss out.

Lost and Found: Please check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office for smaller items.

For all members of National Honor Society, whether currently a member or just now being inducted, we will have our last meeting of the semester today after school in the forum. This will be the first meeting for new members, and the due date for Service Logs for current members, so please plan to attend this short but important meeting.

This is your last full week, warriors—not only for classes; it’s also your last chance to turn in submissions to the Muse magazine. We are still looking for your great essays, stories and poems for Volume 10 of the Muse for this year. Don’t forget that the magazine is published only once yearly. Now’s the time to make your mark, say your piece, give us your voice and be published! Seniors especially, leave a lasting legacy behind before it’s too late! This Friday is the final deadline for submissions to the Muse! To submit, simply go to the Arapahoe home page, click on Activities, then Muse, then scroll down for directions on how to submit.

This is the last week to order a yearbook. The cost is $65, and checks should be made payable to Arapahoe High School. Check with Mr. Anderson in room E-8 if you are not sure whether you’ve ordered your yearbook.

Congratulations to Junior flutist, Melissa Merkel, for being selected to the Colorado All-State Philharmonic Orchestra!!! Melissa was selected as Principal Flute in the orchestra this year through a very rigorous audition process and she will be rehearsing and performing with the 60th Anniversary All-State Orchestra in Ft. Collins on February 9-11, 2012. Congratulations Melissa!!!
