Athletics

Congrats to the Varsity and JV softball teams for their big wins on Saturday against Overland.  Hot bats and great team play by both teams are what led the Lady Warriors to victory. Come out tomorrow and support the Lady Warriors as they take on Smoky Hill. The varsity game is at deKoevand Park at 4 p.m. and the JV game is here at Arapahoe at 4:30 pm. Good luck Warriors!
The Arapahoe High Girls Lacrosse Team will play Fall Lacrosse.   We welcome all grades and encourage the new freshman to sign up online at the South Suburban website (sspr.org).    Participation in Fall lacrosse is purely voluntary, and does not have any effect on team placement in the Spring.  There will not be any practices.  This will provide an opportunity for those who are not involved in other activities on to get a lacrosse stick in their hands in the Fall, and to get to know other lacrosse players.  The games will be on Saturdays beginning on September 7th and ending on October 19th.  Registration now is open until the deadline of today.  You may see a registration deadline of August 16th on the South Suburban website, but South Suburban has left registration open for Arapahoe until the 30th.  Please register on-line on the South Suburban website (sspr.org).  Indicate that you will be playing on the Arapahoe high school team.  You will pay the fee directly to South Suburban as part of the registration process.  The game schedule and team assignments will be distributed no later than September 1st.   Go Warriors!!

For further details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
Warriors always take care of one another.
