Congratulations to all the Arapahoe DECA members who competed at State this past weekend.  We had 17 students make finals and 7 of those qualified for Nationals in Anaheim!

Time is running out! Sophomores and Juniors interested in taking a Career and Technical Education course next fall need to sign up for these classes by next Monday, March 4th. Courses include Auto Tech, Broadcast Journalism, Fire Science, and Health Sciences, just to name a few. Please stop in and see your Guidance Counselor for more information about classes and how to sign up.

Athletics

Please come out and support the Special Olympic basketball team as they go up against Englewood High School tonight at 7:00 p.m. here at Arapahoe High School's main gym.  We will be honoring our seniors during half time.  

Seniors interested in playing the Warrior Week charity basketball game must pick up an application from Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages office.  Applications are due today.

Boys basketball playoffs start tonight! If you can't make it to the game, you can still support the team by tuning into The Spear Broadcast Club to watch the game live-streamed over the internet!  Check the AHS webpage for the link.

Time is running out! Sophomores and Juniors interested in taking a Career and Technical Education course next fall need to sign up for these classes by next Monday, March 4th. Courses include Auto Tech, Broadcast Journalism, Fire Science, and Health Sciences, just to name a few. Please stop in and see your Guidance Counselor for more information about classes and how to sign up.

Hey Warriors!  Come out and support the boys basketball team as they take on Castle View in the 1st Round of the State Playoffs this evening here at Arapahoe.  Tip off will be at 7:00 pm.  All students will need to purchase a ticket for this game.  Admission prices are $6 for Adults and $5 for students.  Go Warriors!

General Announcements


Congratulations Arapahoe TSA for another successful conference.  You ALL represented Arapahoe High School with pride, dignity and excellence, and we are pleased and proud of you. Special congratulations to the following award winners who took top three honors in the state for their events and qualified for Nationals in Orlando, Florida this June.  Kudos to: Yasmine Lame and Jennie Park who took 1st Place in "Fashion Design",    James Bierschwale who placed 2nd  in "Computer Aided Design-3D Engineering",   Ben Chisholm who placed 3rd in "Computer Aided Design-3D Engineering" and 3rd in "Extemporaneous Presentation",   and Michael Moran and Garrett Daly for grabbing  2nd place in the "Giant Jenga Tournament".  Awesome job Arapahoe TSA.

The JV girls basketball won their last game of the season in a very aggressive game Friday night against Cherokee Trail 55-26.  High scorers were Jose Tugman with 12 pts and Katie Crowley with 11 pts.  Their final record was 16-2.  Great season girls and congratulations!!!

Attention girls golfers - There is a golf meeting in room C20 after school today.
