What better way to celebrate our first week of school than to
come to the Back to School dance! Doors
open at 8:00 p.m. tonight for our annual dance in the cafeteria. The cost is $5, and you must bring your
student ID. Arapahoe students only. See you there!
Class
Ring Packets are available in the Main office and the Guidance office. Orders for class rings will be taken in the
Cafeteria next Thursday and Friday during 1st and 2nd
lunch.

YES!!
The MUSE is Arapahoe’s only magazine dedicated entirely to the
creative arts, created entirely by students. If you are interested in
being part of an amazing team who will build this year’s MUSE magazine from
scratch, mark your calendar for this WEDNESDAY after school in Room
C-17 for our first meeting. This meeting is especially important, as
we’ll be talking about leadership positions. Come check it out!

again, and Monday,
September 8th, we'll be kicking off homecoming week with the talent show
and crowning your Homecoming royalty. Make sure to get your nominations in
starting TODAY! Look for the links on
the Arapahoe website.
Do you have talent and want to showcase it at our
school Homecoming talent show? Then don’t miss talent show tryouts today. Sign up for your slot at the front desk in
the main office today!
Hey Freshmen! Would you like to be a part of our class
float for Homecoming? Come to an organizational meeting on Wednesday,
Aug. 27 during first lunch in room C-1.

Ticketing in the student parking lot will begin on Monday - If you do not have a valid parking
permit appropriately displayed on your vehicle, DO NOT park in the lot, you
will receive a ticket.
Athletics
Attention
all girls interested in playing basketball this upcoming season. The Open Gym
workouts have started from 5:30-7:30 in the Main Gym. These are great
opportunities to work on and improve your individual and Team skills. Please
plan to join us as we prepare for a great season! Also, you can view the entire Fall open gym

Tryouts
for the ALL Fall Heritage Hockey teams will be the following dates and
times. All tryouts are at the Ice Ranch.
· Friday Aug 22 at 3:30
· Saturday Aug 23 at 11:00
Starting today, the weight room will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30 to 4:00.
All boys interested in playing basketball this
year at Arapahoe, we will be starting open gyms tomorrow at 5:45 am in the Main Gym. A schedule will be
handed out then to all who are planning on trying out for this years teams.
